TimmySmith
Dude can punt. 49 per. Another piece of the puzzle that makes the Skins a better team. If he averages 50 this year, I'll buy a jersey.
Burgold
Even better, he might be able to kick off! Even his ugly kick offs worked lol. If he can do that and leave Forbath for field goals we might just be in great shape in the kicking game.
TradeTheBeal!
7 of 9 into the end zone, or something like that. Not too shabby.
skinzplay
Making me think back to ol' Steve Cox and those booming punts he used to serve up with regularity. I used to love his unorthodox - extremely low - drop of the ball. Way seems like a fantastic find.
sportjunkie07
wondering if the low drop will lead to more blocks? ive liked what ive seen so far.
PortisBetts
Isnt it nice to have a coach that searched for solutions for ALL of the teams problems and not just the offense? His punts have been bombs. I love it.
skinzplay
Oh, sorry about that, SJ07. I didn't mean that Way had a low drop. I was just reminiscing to a time when we had a helluva punter, and it just happens that the low drop is one of the things I remember about Steve Cox. wondering if the low drop will lead to more blocks? ive liked what ive seen so far. We've struck gold with our Kicking Game! Sure Jacksonville's a weak Opponent, but notice where their average starting Field Position was...usually inside of their own 35. And consequently, notice how well the D played; their efforts got a major assist from Mr. Way. With Punting and Kicking this sound, we should Win the Field Position battle 2 out of every 3 weeks. If that happens, then Washington will be in the mix all year. (as long as The Skins don't have another poor year with Turnover Differential) Dare I say regardless of which guy takes snaps. Voice_of_Reason
Way was really one of the great surprises of the game for me. He punted really well, and his kickoffs were awesome. If he can keep the kickoff duty, I'd let him.

Warhead36
We finally went the young P route. I was so sick of veteran punters like Tom Tupa and Sav Rocca coming here and stinking up the joint. Young legs are best legs.
AlldaySkins
I love the name. Tress Way is the best way. Glad to see that we don't have to resort to Forbath for kickoffs anymore.

dan757
I think this is a great solution to Kai's poor kick off's. He is pretty darn good on field goals but weak on the kickoff. Tress should continue to do kickoff's and punts whith Forbath being the Field goal/PA specialist.
Old Bay
Tress Way man. A good punter is sooooooooo much more valuable than people think. You were a punter in high school, weren't you? So far so good. Keep it up.

I was so sick of veteran punters like Tom Tupa and Sav Rocca coming here and stinking up the joint. Young legs are best legs. Well, young quality punter. We tried a young guy named Frost that didn't go too well.
TimmySmith
The fact that Gruden and Kotwica recognized that Way can do kickoffs tells me the ST is no longer relegated to 2nd tier status. Attention to detail in all 3 phases. I like it.

Attention to detail in all 3 phases. I like it. Even Gruden had a positive solution to a backup plan to the backup plan for the QB situation. When asked what would have happened if KC went down against Jacksonville and he immediately said Andre Roberts would've been the QB. So not only does he do what ifs but he does what ifs to the what ifs. I likey.
igglesfan
I hate that the NFL seems to not value punters (not nearly as much as they should, anyway), its an awesome thing to have a good one, and it appears the the Redskins do.
Dan T.
Hocker brought in for visit. Wonder what that was about... Was that yesterday? Forbath had a groin issue last week but kicked anyway on Sunday. Maybe he aggravated it. Or maybe they're keeping ties with Hocker in case it gets worse.
