Maybe they'd block better for Alfred Morris if they went with Riggins type tradition and went out and had a beer or two in the parking lot trailer before or after practice. Hell, maybe even during. The pass blocking part may have a little to do with Cousins getting the ball out quick but if you'd have told me five games into the season our pass blocking would be significantly better than our run blocking, which has been atrocious, I'd tell you you're crazy. Unfortunately that has been the case though. On the few drives against Seattle where they actually showed up and blocked for the running game all of a sudden there was a great rhythm to our offense and it seemed easy as opposed to needing 60 yard bombs or having to move the ball on third and long every series. It is supposed to be the bread and butter of our offense. Morris is still getting plenty of yards after contact but when he's consistently contacted in the backfield it goes for 1-2 yards instead of 4-6. This needs to get fixed asap.
