TheLongshot seemed to think injured players normally dont travel with the team. so it was a bit of a surprise to see RG3 on the runway

 

 

TheLongshot didn't seem to think, he knows.  It's standard practise, if it wasn't Sean Taylor would still be alive today......

 

Edit:  I see others have pointed out why all current Redskin fans already know how it works with injured players, if we think a little first.

well apparently it doesnt work that way with all players, because RG3 was on that trip with the team yesterday to Arizona.

@avbanig @Rich_TandlerCSN He's practicing, but you have to be good, ready and healthy. He's not.

The Redskins could be without fullback Darrel Young as they take on the Cardinals in Arizona. 


The team sent out an update to its injury report, adding Young with a hamstring injury. He is now questionable for the game. 


Washington worked out at a Phoenix area high school earlier today and it is likely that Young sustained the injury then. 


Young is the only fullback on the roster. The Redskins use a fullback on about a third of their plays. It's likely that tight end Logan Paulsen will fill in when a fullback is needed.

I posed that question to Tandler a couple weeks ago. He replied that they generally are not told about how they're doing till right before being able to come off the PUP list, which should be after this week's game. Hopefully we'll hear something next week.

Bowen has been ready. Just waiting to get off the PUP list.
