But we have heard it for a while, but the same mistakes are repeated over and over again. Hope Gruden is the one that actually does something about it finally. So far I like everything about Gruden. Seems like a very no nonsense approach where he's not trying to sugarcoat things. I do wonder how he would be after a win though because, say we stopped Houston before that last FG and then drove the field for the game tying TD and somehow win the game, it doesn't erase the mistakes we made in that game. Hopefully he's not on a stay medium thing, but is evaluating each player on a certain level and is finding ways to stress fundamentals to these guys in practice. One thing that worries me though is that we were making mistakes like this in preseason as well. We had a few turnovers that ended long drives by our offense. We need to fix that or get players on offense who don't make those mistakes. One thing I love about Griffin is that he's not known for being a gambler/gunslinger and showed Sunday that he could execute a gameplan, but that fumble shouldn't happen. Same goes with the Morris fumble that was called back - need to have extra protection on the ball. And Paul is out of my dog house despite his fumble, but I'm going to need him to expect to be caught on those plays since he's not a burner. I think Brian Orakpo is the ARod of the Redskins. Lining the stat pad against nobodies.... or in insignificant games (after the playoffs are a long shot) or at times when the game is out of reach (large leads or deficits). He is the anti-clutch.
