Jordan Reed is here at practice but not playing. Redskins in locker room sounded like Reed would be out Sunday. #Redskins

Skins are getting very thin along the defensive front. This will force the healthy guys to play a lot more snaps than normal which can prove costly late in the game. The best remedy for this is for the offense to control the clock. We need ToP heavily in our favor.

Reed (hamstring) will be evaluated on a week to week basis, Gruden said. Sounds like he's definitely out Sunday.

I hope Gruden stands firm on Moss.

 

I get the sense he is going to be bitter, no matter how his career starts to wind down. Gruden is merely stuck in the middle.

 

I don't want Gruden to spend any time wasted rationalizing everything he does to Santana Moss, especially right before kickoffs.

 

Even Moss's biggest fans here knew he was destined to be our emergency WR should injury strike one of our big 3. Santana knew the odds were against him in camp and said so himself.  Sure he wants to play, but Gruden also wants to be a coach.

Jaguars rookie WR Marqise Lee sustained a hamstring in practice Wed. Worked limited. CB Dwayne Gratz sustained ankle injury. Also limited.

CB Dwayne Gratz (ankle), WR Marqise Lee (hammy) hurt in prtc today. They did not finish. WR Cecil Shorts (hammy) was limited.

 

Gratz was laughing walking back to locker room with pads on, so doubt his ankle is that bad.
