S Johnathan Cyprien (concussion) was on field watching practice ... I'd be surprised if he played Sunday. #Jaguars

Good news for Redskins; Cyprien is a true difference maker for that defense. To hell with all that "we want the opposition at full strength" nonsense.. because... uh... we really don't. Especially with the injury bug biting us HARD so early in the season, we need what ever breaks we can get.

I suppose I am wrong, if THAT is the new "textbook." It is literally impossible to tackle the QB now.

I will say that I'm usually the first guy in a bar or wherever to admit a bad call that helps the Redskins. Not that I'm ever upset to see us get a little help but I'm not one of those assholes that tries to argue a bad call was the right one just because it helped my team. First thing I said when we got the unnecessary roughness when their guy hit RGIII was "Wow, that was a bull**** call." I got a lot of looks from other Redskins fans. I said the same thing when we got the call against Jarvis Jenkins. I love my Redskins but a lot of these calls are ruining football. I don't care if it's my quarterback or someone else's. It is absolute ludicrous when you get a stop or a big hit on a quarterback and it's negated by a horse**** call of roughing the passer. Unless the defender drills a guy Brandon Meriweather style or takes two steps after the throw to hit him, it's not roughing the passer. Sack the **** up NFL you're ruining America's best sport and possibly only remaining watchable sport.

And WOW, just saw the Upshaw hit on Roethlisburger that the tweet was about. And the announcer called it a textbook penalty. More like textbook hit. That is exactly what I'm so upset about. That is a sack, a perfect hit and a huge play for a defense. You take that all away, give the offense a first down AND fifteen yards. COMPLETE BULL****.

That textbook comment was from our bestest friend Mike Carey, now in NBC's booth.

Since '90, the probability of making the playoffs on record after 2 games: 11.6% (0-2); 41.1% (1-1); 63.3% (2-0). Steelers & Ravens both 1-1

Joe Flacco last night (21-29, 166, 2 TD) 5.72 Yards/pass att. Griffin III in Hou (29-37, 267) 7.12 YPPA. Don't need to stretch field to win.

Pain is nothing compared to what it feels like to quit.

Kai keeps straining his groin trying to kickoff deep in the endzone, because he normally can't reach it.

That legal hit on Ben Roethlisberger last night when the Ravens player drilled him and was flagged for was bull****. I turned the game off and watched BYU and Houston. NFL is slowly driving me away.

I got to tell ya, I still haven't ordered the Sunday Ticket and I am considering just sponging here and there, going to friends and bars to avoid paying for it. I told my wife the game is not the same and we will be watching more college other than the Skins from now on. She agrees.

watched a little film.. talked to some #Redskins .. and here are Three things I learned about the #Jaguars http://es.pn/1BxQ9Di

The Jaguars like running misdirection. Or, at least, do a good job offensively of trying to fool a defender’s eyes and putting receivers in favorable spots.

The Jags’ defense is tough but vulnerable. They play relatively fast and are not a bad unit. They have elements of Seattle’s defense without the Seahawks talent:

They have a capable offense. That is, if you give quarterback Chad Henne time to throw. They executed the misdirection plays well and they will be aggressive.

I kind of think that was his point. "Here's a SuperBowl winner posting a similar stat line."

There's only a handful of starting QB's right now that have a ring. Those are the ones to whom you would want to be compared.

I'm sorry, I should have put in a sarcasm tag. I was referencing a conversation I had on here yesterday (Taco Bell) who told me that when I compared some of Flacco's post game quotes to RG3.

+1  I certainly don't mind seeing the opposition limping into our barn

What i like even better, is game planning to test the waters on the backups pressed into duty.

Test a DB early, and maybe expose him. And by the end of the first quarter, try and force their DC into adjusting out of his game plan.

Yea I kind of figured it was sarcasm but wasn't too sure. You're usually one of the more logical posters on the board.

Watched Griffin/Roberts near-miss 10 more times. 1) He was in. 2) Throw was bad.

@BurgundyBlog throw was fantastic actually off the scramble...not stepping into the pocket was the initial problem

@NBCdianna Roberts had an acre. Target area was as big as a Target store and he missed it. Watt couple yards away.
