Golston (groin) and Reed (hamstring) -- labeled yesterday by Gruden as "doubtful" -- not participating in early part of Friday's practice.

 

Once again, Jordan Reed & Kedric Golston are on sidelines.. Can't expect #Redskins will have either on Sunday.. #RedskinsTalk

 

Reed and Golston both watching. Jordan and Porter as well.

 

PK Kai Forbath (groin) is the only kicker on the field. He was limited on Thursday.

 

Tracy Porter, Akeem Jordan, Jordan Reed and Kedric Golston are not participating in practice.

the patriots are 92-18 at foxborough...wow. gotta say, thats pretty amazing.


"the season could be effectively over 51 hours from now" give me a break. 0-2 does not mean we're done for the season...the good teams find a way to overcome an 0-2 start. if, god forbid, we lose sunday, we'll just have to show that we can beat philly and new york in back-to-back games to get to 2-2. writing off our season if we start 0-2 is just silly, and if you actually do that, i dont see how you can call yourself a real fan.

Forbath will kick Sat. before #Redskins determine status for Sunday. Gruden said he's hopeful. Forbath told him it's not as bad as last yr.

 

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley says WR Cecil Shorts III will travel to Washington. He worked well on side Friday and Bradley not ruling him out.

I.  Do-or-die?

Yes, I said must-win. Jacksonville and Houston are much improved but you still can not go (0-2) against the so-called soft part of your schedule and against teams that were a combined (6-26) last year. Then again...

First thing I said when we got the unnecessary roughness when their guy hit RGIII was "Wow, that was a bull**** call." I got a lot of looks from other Redskins fans.

When I watched that play and the replay of it, I think the call was made because when Robert hit the ground, the defender had the crown of his helmet on Roberts chest/chin.  So, the hit was fine, until the last split second when he drove with the crown of his helmet. 

 

I wouldn't have called it, but look at the replay and where the ref is standing.  If not called, we kick a FG and have 9 points, instead of a fumble on the next play.

Reed says his hamstring pull is between a Grade 1 and a Grade 2.

 

I think the #Redskins will be OK with five defensive linemen...The real problem is at backup nose. With no Golston - they have nobody.

If we lost to the 2-14 Texans and then at our home opener to the Jags, how could you possibly think we are a good team?

Being a real fan can also see the writing on the wall....once the burgundy glasses are removed.
