The Washington Redskins have a chance to hammer another nail in the coffin of the 2011-12 Eagles season. Many of the experts are buying into the new look Redskins while others (USA Today) think the Eagles can salvage the season starting in DC. This game is huge for both teams, but in two completely different ways. For the Redskins it increases their lead in a division that is up for grabs. For the Eagles a win helps them dig their way a bit out of the whole Vick and Co. have dug.

has madden picked us to win a single game this year? i cant recall one.....maybe st louis?

Madden had us losing by 3 to the Giants, by 4 to the Cardinals, by 7 to Cowboys, and by 7 to the Rams.

So nope, according to Madden we should be 0-4 right now (0-5 after tomorrow). Good thing it's almost always wrong.

I'll handle that one. They have a large and ridiculously loyal fanbase, in part because they bought the rights to the NFL (putting the much better 2k series out of business). They make crazy amounts of money without having to try, so they churn out subpar product year after year. Don't expect it to change any time soon.

Who cares if Accuscore didn't pick us? but merril Hoge picked us and he has the best record of any of the pickers, including the computers

56-21 is baller

10-3 last week

=LEGIT

Damn last week. I'm 53-24, I went 7-6 last week.

Covers.com has shown a consistent betting line of the Redskins being a home underdog since the line started. Really, it hasn't had any movement and the Skins are +3 at home vs. the Eagles. Not that I am a big sports bettor but you have to like that as a tease! I see where the odds are coming in as it's a big must win game for the Eagles and the last match-up had them dominating the Skins at home...but still, I'd take the points in this one!!!

Skins will win so take the points!

He also picked Dallas over NE and NY or Buffalo... NE vs Dallas game - NE has a poor defense and it's possible that the Dallas Defense carries that game. NY vs Buffalo - NY is playing good ball but I'm not sure that their defense is any better than last week and Buffalo can score so I'd take the Bills. Tough games to pick this week. That's why they play the games and we all love it!

Dunno I'm not touching this one... ESPN's pick'em has the Eagles at 50.45% and Redskins at 49.55% the closest game by far this weekend

It's going to be one of those last drive to win games. I got confidence in our defense and I believe they probably want to shut everyone up about last years game.

By the way, does Jaworski not pick between the Jets/Dolphins because he is doing the game?

The Redskins better score points. All the teams that beat Philly scored 24 points or more. Washington has only scored more than 22 points once. That was in week one.

If they can run at will, they will throw at will so they will score. I think the game and the scoring is solely on the run game considering that TOP will keep Philly from scoring likewise.

i've got something that will change our madden fortunes, from john clayton today:

9. Fearing the 0-7 start: The Rams may be doomed. They are 0-4 coming off a bye week. Injuries have taken away their top three cornerbacks -- Ron Bartell, Jerome Murphy and Bradley Fletcher. Over the next three weeks, they face the Packers, the Cowboys and Redskins. Try stopping Aaron Rodgers, Romo sits to pee and Drew Brees with fourth and fifth cornerbacks. Even worse, the Rams are adjusting poorly to Josh McDaniels' offense. The line is having trouble blocking five-step drops. Receivers aren't separating from defenders. That's leaving Sam Bradford vulnerable to hits and incompletions. The Packers, who host the Rams, must be salivating.

we now have drew brees. and all we have to do is play the rams twice!

The madden game, and everyone else in the free world pegged the Skins as potential front runners for Andrew Luck.

The game doesn't really know how good a team is gonna be, mainly based on last years stats and record, so by that logic the Skins might be a little better in next years game? :whoknows:
