Virgin America runs direct flights into SFO from IAD (Dulles), including the red-eye, not sure what the prices are going to be on such short notice. I was going to suggest that, but flights are not exactly "cheap" these days LOL But there is a ton of free stuff to do there! If you're a city person or a country person, etc. EDIT I thought of something you may have never visited, that would be cheap and beautiful. Longwood Gardens, old du Pont money, beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens. You could even make a day trip out of it if you want, like a 2 hr drive from Lanham. Don't get married yet though. am i the only one that rates Vegas as about 58th in terms of US cities i want to visit at any given point? and if you throw in nearby NON-US cities... it drops out of sight all together.
