HRNY4ZRNY
Simple question. Who is better, Will Smith or Bruce Willis? Who has had better movies, more memorable moments? Both have been in all different types of movies. Both can be bad asses, Both are great at the "silent tears". I posed this question to a few people and I think its a tough call. Will Smith- http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FWill_Smith&rct=j&q=Will+Smith+Wiki&ei=AL0iTJiSM4HGlQeclvmABg&usg=AFQjCNG-Izs1VTSc8Gv9I_RI5KSYL2D05Q Bruce Willis- http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBruce_Willis&rct=j&q=Bruce+Willis+wiki&ei=Ib0iTJaKC4OdlgeB-oWyBQ&usg=AFQjCNE5sLwE8DuMlIgp4VZqmk-gp1Xl5Q

Mr. Sinister
I think it's close, but I'll take Will Smith, his swagger and witty humor puts him over the top IMO.
terrifNick21
Will Smith is my favorite actor, so I'm biased.
HRNY4ZRNY
Both are similar. Independance Day vs. The 5th Element Bad Boys vs. Die Hard Shark Tale vs. Over The Hedge (lol)
Titans&SkinsFan
I've barely seen any of Willis' movies. Seen most of Smith's movies.

MisterPinstripe
Smith is a great actor who can do so many types of movies well. I was blown away by his performance in The Pursuit of Happyness. Its just shocking that he went from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air to where he is now and the movies he has done. Whoda thunk it.

HRNY4ZRNY
At first glance I go with Smith but when I look through Willis' movies gotta go with him. Love 16 blocks, Hostage, and 12 monkeys... Bruce Willis likes number movies. The 1st Deadly Sin, The 5th Element, The 6th Sense, The Whole 9 Yards, The Whole 10 Yards, Lucky number Slevin (Elevin) 12 Monkeys, 16 Blocks
cjcdaman
Never heard of that one. You're 25 and mentioned MIB and MIBII. Great movies. Ummm Die Hard, brother! Puts both to shame. Its okay, you're a young buck...but you have no idea what you're missing!
Destino
Will Smith by a country mile. 1 - Bruce Willis never made a summer Anthem. In fact Bruce Willis and music Seriously who the hell listened to this: No one. 2 - Bruce Willis has some great action movies... but where is the range? Will Smith not only has some good action movies but he has Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness, both of which resulted in Will Smith being nominated for an Academy Award. Seven Pounds wasn't bad either. cjcdaman
Will Smith by a country mile. Wouldn't the title and question of the thread lead you to believe that music had NO BEARING on the outcome? I guess not.

Its okay, you're a young buck...but you have no idea what you're missing! I think you misunderstood. I said Willis didn't make that mistake. Of course I've seen the Die Hards. thebluefood
Die Hard was such an awesome movie that it blows everything else Smith has done, in my opinion. Then again...Will Smith is a natural comedian.
Mufumonk
Never heard of that one. And that's not the worst of it. There's also the Color of Night. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/color_of_night/
cyfar
While I'm not all that quick to run and catch a Will SMith flick, I believe that both of these guys are very very similar. Both are good in action movies and adequate in other movies. I would like to see what smith could do with a few of those Tarrantino roles.
cjcdaman
Then again...Will Smith is a natural comedian. Let me know when this thread turned into a question of comedic performances or bad ass performances. I don't see it. :pfft:

Destino
Wouldn't the title and question of the thread lead you to believe that music had NO BEARING on the outcome? I guess not. They both made music right? The question is Bruce v Will, and they both made movies, TV, and music. Will smith just happened to have more range as an actor, better music, and better TV. ... unless you liked moonlighting or I missed Bruce's Academy Award nominations.
