If he's in good shape, he could very well be signed (I could see a Rob Jackson/Justin Tryon type headed to the practice squad to make room for an extra RB, or maybe they let a depth safety like Justin Hamilton go). The guy will be playing for a contract with someone else next year ala big Dan Wilkinson. The guy is a reclamation project, and we give up nada to get him. If he can come in and give CP a breather, and be productive....I say great!!! My only concern is while we have Zorn and Mitchell.....didnt Zorn keep Gibbs running game in tact from last year? So you think Alexander will be a good sign? THats kind of a dumb statement. Any fan is going to ride a player that does well. What are you suppose to do. It just doesn't seem like a smart signing. I say let someone like Hamilton go and keep alexander for the season and have a 1-2-3 punch with SA, LB, and CP. Man now that is three headed monster. It all depends on how SA looks though.
