Paul - Tommy Fury would be pretty intriguing. Lot of buildup but let's see if anything comes out of it.

Paul has been fighting older mma stars who are clearly past their prime so seeing Paul against another young fighter with marketable power would be huge

None of these guys are actual boxers. If Paul faced one he was get KO'd in the first round.

Tommy is a bit new to the game, not as good as his half brother at least not yet but still would be a big draw and the most challenging opponent Jake would face

If Woodley just would have thrown his hands more he could have ended Paul.  What we watched was clearly an example of an MMA fighter who's instincts are not to throw combos and instead gear up for 1 punch KO's and/or stun punches.  He had Paul stunned multiple times but never followed up.  He also got screwed out of a legitimate knockdown when he knocked Paul into the ropes in which he falls to canvas without the ropes holding him up and by the rules that is a knockdown.

Paul's camp only agreed to the fight because they assumed what most people did, that because of how drastically different striking is in MMA, and footwork and everything else, that an over the hill Woodley would not offer much besides throwing the looping over right hand that without the threat of his other tools. Paul would be able to see coming.  Also Paul is 24 going up against a 40 year old, and Paul was the one who looked gassed 5 rounds into the fight.

Say what you will about Paul's "hustle" but he isn't worth a damn as a fighter.

So Don King is buying the rights to a title fight between two fighters nobody has ever heard of?  I guess that shows how far boxing has fallen in the public eye.

Don King wins the purse bid for Bryan-Dubois

Don King Productions won the bidding for the World Boxing Association (WBA) heavyweight championship bout between Trevor Bryan and Daniel Dubois. The auction took place on Monday via Zoom and the team representing Bryan, with Don King himself present at the purse bid, won the rights to promote the bout with a bid of three million one hundred and sixteen thousand and one dollars (US$3,116,001.00).

The winning promoter gave June 18 as the date for the fight, while as possible venues are London, South Florida, and New York.

Dubois is a upcoming talent. He got his eye socket broken by Joe Joyce about 2 years ago. He took a knee and stayed down. As far as this fight, not a lot of hype for it, but hopefully, it gets Dubois back on track.

Also, hard to believe Don King is still in the boxing business. He's robbed everyone that he's promoted. I'm surprised he still has any boxers left under his promotional banner.

Crawford beat the dog **** out of Spence. Never would have thought this fight would have been this one-sided.

I like Bud, but I lost a LOT of $$$ on that fight betting Spence. Never thought Spence would get the brakes beat off of him!  And I talked a lot of crap leading up to the fight. 😭

No need to see a rematch at 154. Same outcome.
