Mooka
BTW, what is up with the Hobbit? Scheduled release is Dec. 2011 for the first and Dec. 2012 for the second. Peter Jackson and the LOTR screenplay writers (Walsh and Boyens) will be writing the screenplay for the Hobbit movies along with Del Toro. Should be awesome. Principal photography is tentatively set for a 2009 start, with the intention of “The Hobbit” release slated for 2010 and its sequel the following year, in 2011. HogNose
Yeah many movies make me stop and watch and draw me in, but Forrest Gump does it more than any other flick. I've seen Gump more times than I can count and each time it draws me back in. I'll never get tired of it.It's a sickness. :twitch:

HighOnHendrix
My Cousin Vinny did it to me the other day. I think it was on A&E. I had to switch to the DVD, though - got tired of the language nannies. I'm a grown-up, a few F-bombs don't bother me any.

renaissance
Shawshank Redemption (The pace of that movie makes it absolutely mesmerizing.) The Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, Armageddon, and Deep Impact. (I'm sensing a trend here....) Casino Royale has been on Showtime a lot recently. I usually stop and watch that one for at least a few minutes.
