Kurd Cudins
Saints | Team signs Patten Thu, 12 Apr 2007 16:11:45 -0700 The NFL Network reports the New Orleans Saints signed free-agent WR David Patten (Redskins). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. I get the feeling he will be a good addition to their team. Mostly because he was so bad here and our karma sucks. KDawg
Where do people get off saying he was bad here? He barely played! That doesn't make him bad, just injury prone...
DeMarco Murray 29
Should be decent. Look what they did with Terrance Copper.

ThePreciating
What are you talking about? David Patten was great here in the role he filled when he wasn't injured. He's good for depth but we had enough. I wish him well, but don't expect him to start there either. He's getting on in years.
supaskin
I am glad he made it to a quality team, hopefully he produces for them

RedskinzOwnU
He was bad because even when he did get on the field he was invisible. Unfortunately Zero-Ocho had that effect on the large majority of our receivers. I don't blame patten. When Brunell wasn't dumping off to Betts he was forcing throws to Moss in doube/triple coverage. Tom [Giants fan]
He will get a chance to mentor their talented young WR's. Good situation probably for him.
project myu
I remember an article in the Washington Post before the 2005 season started.. David Patten said something along the lines of, "Me and Santana Moss are 1a and 1b. There is no #1 and #2." ...

Jumbo
He was a good guy, I wish him well. I still think he has some talent. Like many others, he took his share of undeserved shots on the board.
