OSP fought like he was here to survive and get a bonus check

its weird, probably Bones most boring fight and yet he's cheered more than when he was wrecking fools

mma you crazy

What bothered me is he was doing nothing and his corner was telling him how good of a fight he was fighting. Gustafson took it to Bones and never let up. You can't lay back and let him pick you apart. You've got to press the action because other than that you simply aren't going to beat him.

How? dude was out 2 years and still beat Dillasnake? Dillasnake is legit too.

Unless you mean DJ is a different fighter, and you might be right about that.

I was referring to DJ. But don't take that as me poo poo'ing how good Cruz is. I think it would be a tremendous fight.

Did not see this for myself, but I'm told by people backstage Jones got in a wheelchair in the back to go to locker room.

Here's Jon Jones' reaction to finding out one of his kicks may have broken OSP's arm.

Is that how he ended up in a wheelchair after the fight ? He hurt himself celebrating about OSP's broken arm ?

Connor is everything Dana wanted, until he realized Connor might not play the company man like Liddell.

It'll be a rough road ahead, but I think they stay together because it's a love/hate relationship.

They'll realize they can't live without each other, because they both can make each other huge amounts of money.

Unless Conor goes overboard, and reaps the same amount of hate from Dana, that Dana has for Ben Askren.

Or, if Conor keeps losing from here. He was the hunter. Now he's the hunted.

Conor would be great in the booth.

Since DC took his place on the card, maybe Conor could take DC's place as an analyst.

That would be entertaining and intriguing.

Awesome idea if that's what Conor would want!

Re: DC vs. Bones- I'll be rooting hard for Cormier but I suspect he's the Miesha to Bones' Ronda. Not gonna happen, Danny boy. Ever.

No UFC tonight, but if you want your MMA fix, there's these 2 giants at HW. Former UFC fighter and 6'8 Jack May, vs 6'4 Brian-Stann-lookalike and KO machine, Chase Sherman in Titan FC 38.

All 8 of his wins are 1st round KO's

It was a weekend of immense pain in MMA.

This happened the same weekend, as the above injury.

EDIT : just got worse, this weekend. Bellator's Jordan Parsons may lose his leg to amputation,

after being struck by a car.

seeing on twitter that Parsons died

EDIT : At first glance, this had appeared to be a legitimate source, but now I'm hearing that the report is baseless. I didn't think Conor's UFC contract would allow him to do this anyway, would it

From CBS Sports Radio Report :

Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor Close To Deal For Fight In Vegas

Mayweather is set to square off with UFC mega-star Conor McGregor this summer. In the report, Beal and Heath-Smith state that both fighters have agreed to the fight, but the exact purse and contracts have yet to be worked out.

Just saw on Bleacher Report that Dana White said it was false and just tabloid reporting. Since Connor is still under contract with the UFC, I doubt it happens, unless he is released, which ain't happening.
