Taylor703
OSP fought like he was here to survive and get a bonus check its weird, probably Bones most boring fight and yet he's cheered more than when he was wrecking fools mma you crazy What bothered me is he was doing nothing and his corner was telling him how good of a fight he was fighting. Gustafson took it to Bones and never let up. You can't lay back and let him pick you apart. You've got to press the action because other than that you simply aren't going to beat him. Malapropismic Depository
From the booth, DC musta been kickin himself on the inside, about getting hurt and not taking the fight, thinkin "I could definitely have beaten the rusty Jones out there tonight"
StillUnknown
Brett OkamotoVerified account@bokamotoESPNDid not see this for myself, but I'm told by people backstage Jones got in a wheelchair in the back to go to locker room. 200 would be out of play if he's hurt
Dr. Do Itch Big
He's a different fighter now. How? dude was out 2 years and still beat Dillasnake? Dillasnake is legit too. Unless you mean DJ is a different fighter, and you might be right about that.

Malapropismic Depository
Connor is everything Dana wanted, until he realized Connor might not play the company man like Liddell. It'll be a rough road ahead, but I think they stay together because it's a love/hate relationship. They'll realize they can't live without each other, because they both can make each other huge amounts of money. Unless Conor goes overboard, and reaps the same amount of hate from Dana, that Dana has for Ben Askren.
StillUnknown
Bones/DC II is the new main event at 200 in a bit of related news, Conor acquired two voodoo dolls with a striking likeness to Bones & DC.
Malapropismic Depository
Conor would be great in the booth. Since DC took his place on the card, maybe Conor could take DC's place as an analyst. That would be entertaining and intriguing.

Awesome idea if that's what Conor would want! Re: DC vs. Bones- I'll be rooting hard for Cormier but I suspect he's the Miesha to Bones' Ronda. Not gonna happen, Danny boy. Ever. Malapropismic Depository
No UFC tonight, but if you want your MMA fix, there's these 2 giants at HW. Former UFC fighter and 6'8 Jack May, vs 6'4 Brian-Stann-lookalike and KO machine, Chase Sherman in Titan FC 38. All 8 of his wins are 1st round KO's http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Chase-Sherman-159319 http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Jack-May-83949 Edited April 30, 2016 by Malapropismic Depository

Agreed, and very good comparison. I don't see any avenue of victory other than a decision where Bones is flat and gives rounds away.
Malapropismic Depository
Jack May just suffered a horrific injury to his knee against Sherman. His knee bent in ways it's not built to bend. He is literally screaming in pain on the mat.
Malapropismic Depository
It was a weekend of immense pain in MMA. This happened the same weekend, as the above injury. EDIT : just got worse, this weekend. Malapropismic Depository
EDIT : At first glance, this had appeared to be a legitimate source, but now I'm hearing that the report is baseless. I didn't think Conor's UFC contract would allow him to do this anyway, would it From CBS Sports Radio Report : Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor Close To Deal For Fight In Vegas Mayweather is set to square off with UFC mega-star Conor McGregor this summer. In the report, Beal and Heath-Smith state that both fighters have agreed to the fight, but the exact purse and contracts have yet to be worked out. http://radio.cbssports.com/2016/05/06/report-floyd-mayweather-conor-mcgregor-close-to-deal-for-fight-in-vegas/ A couple others reporting the same thing http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/boxing/7131165/Floyd-Mayweather-and-Conor-McGregor-on-the-verge-of-agreeing-billion-dollar-mega-fight.html http://www.rollingstone.com/sports/news/is-conor-mcgregor-going-to-fight-floyd-mayweather-20160506 Edited May 6, 2016 by Malapropismic Depository
ksun247
Just saw on Bleacher Report that Dana White said it was false and just tabloid reporting. Since Connor is still under contract with the UFC, I doubt it happens, unless he is released, which ain't happening. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2638358-floyd-mayweather-conor-mcgregor-reportedly-close-to-agreeing-vegas-boxing-fight Edited May 6, 2016 by ksun247
