I was huge into watching and collecting Wrestling tapes from about 97-2004ish.

Is there a market for these tapes? I just lost a bunch of storage space and need to get rid of them.

I can't find my old list of what I have but it is pretty extensive. Includes 98% of all the Raws and Smackdowns in that time span, Most PPVs, and also the tsuff I bought and traded for like most In Your House events, bunch of Manias, Summer Slams, SS, etc, Best of RVD ECW, Best or Raven, Taz, Sabu, Best of Japan 1996 review, Best of Jushin Thunder Liger, Great Muta, Sting..... just a ton of stuff. Three giant boxes. I'd hate to just throw away all that stuff after all the money and effort I put into, but also never see myself watching them again.

Any chance I could find a taker on this stuff or is it DVD or nothing these days?

If I find the whole list I can post it.

For your Raw's, Smackdown's, etc, go to flixonline. net. For the PPV's, I normally use filecrop.com. Roughly 50% of the post '03 werkly shows are copyright protected, but pretty much every Raw/Smackdown/Heat/Superstars/Shotgun Saturday Night episode from the early-mid 90's-'02 is there. I normally use my PS3 to go online and watch them on jy tv, but in the last few months I've bern using my laptop.

I'm actually in the beginning stages of the Rikishi/Austin storyline from late '00.

In other words, everything is free online now so no one will want my old VHS tapes...?

ETA: **** Rikishi. Always hated that useless turd.

Damn, I terribly misread your post, my bad :ols:.

I'm sure there will be a market, if for no other reason, not many people know that there are websites like the one I just posted, where you you can watch a lot of the stuff from that era, and alot of the weekly shows are in poor audio/video quality, and some have been taped over, to include commercials (which is kind of cool, I guess, it's almost like a mini time machine in a way, but time consuming nonetheless).

ETA: **** Rikishi. Always hated that useless turd

I have no recollection of how that storyline ended. I definitely rememember him admitting to doing it, because I attended Raw Is War at the (then) MCI Center the week before. I must have been on punishment or something back then. I wonder if the writers eventually included HHH in the storyline because Rikishi had a ****ty "Revenge" grudge match with Austin at Unforgiven '00, and (at least in the beginning) was having a terrible time adjusting to his bad guy top heel role, because at the time, HHH was feuding with Benoit, and was a face, unbelievably, even had more than one tag team match with the Rock against Benoit/Angle. I previously had no memory of any of this.

Thank you sir. :notworthy:

:ols: I bet a lot of people were wondering what was up with Bordus "Funkasaurus" Clay last night. Based on various reports, he was supposed to debut by finishing off John Morrison, but he tweeted about it and WWE got their little panties in a bunch and decided to let him debut later and punish him. So that is why the had him come out like that. But you know that Vince loves some attention and with the amount of attention that Clay received last night, I think his act isn't going to end anytime soon.

Also.....

I find it real lame that a talented wrestler like Naomi Knight is getting used as a go-go girl while these less talented wrestlers like Eve Torres, Bella Twins, and Rosa Mendes keeps on getting all this burn.

Def showing my age here but anybody remember and like the old days with Gordon Solie at The Omni? Seems every week somebody's head went through the podium, lol. Pretty sure the alliance was the NWA, great old school matches too.

I remember. The best part of last nights RAW was seeing those old Four Horsemen/NWA highlights. The old NWA>the WWF/E any day of the week. I know he burnt a TON of bridges, no offense to Barry Windham, but Ole Anderson was an original Horsemen and should get inducted.

No prob.

It's been fun this last year, going back and watching a lot of the old WWF stuff, a lot of which I deleted from the memory bank, so it's almost like I'm watching brand new stuff in a way, like the Buried Alive match between "Boiler Room" Mankind and the Undertaker, or the Boiler Room Brawl that they had at SummerSlam '96, which was one of the very first really violent matches that sort of blazed the trail for the "Post Hogan/Warrior/Hart" Era.

One other thing I completely had no memory of was the whole "ECW Takeover" storyline in early '97, where RVD had sort of a tryout match with Jeff Hardy. They both teamed up to try to take down WCW. :ols:

Heck yeah those NWA matches were the shiz. Loved the old horseman, Kabooki, Hacksaw Butch Reed, ect. Oh yeah and how the Road Warriors would come in and just beat the hell out of the other guys not waiting on the bell or even pinning the opponent, just leave afterwards lol.

I gotta admit i've been out of the circle for a while but those NWA days were great.

That was the biggest swerve/greatest **** ever. I was crying for like 20 minutes.

In case you missed it,

By the way, that crowd was AWFUL last night.

Just watched my DVR Raw...

Brodus Clay was friggin awesome :ols:

Jericho continued to impress with his "run around and annoy everyone" gimmick.

The Kane angle is clearly being used to get Cena cheered. When Kane said, "When you say Cena sucks, you're really saying you suck," I knew exactly what WWE was trying to do.

The whole EVe/Ryder/Kane thing has a Freddy Krueger vibe :ols:

R-Truth is hilarious.

RAW was actually semi entertaining yesterday.

On top of these I know I have years worth of Raws/Smackdowns and a bunch of PPVs from WWF, WCW, ECW, and the first year or so of TNA

---------- Post added January-11th-2012 at 11:24 PM ----------

Combing through my emails was a blast from the past. I was pretty geeked out back then. Here is my Wrestlemania 21 prediction email. I don't get most of the jokes I made back then. Surreal to read these:

> WWE Women's Title Match

> Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme

> Pick: Trish wins. Kicks out of the Twist of Fate.

> Matt

> interferes and has sex with chrissy. “That will show

> her!” He screams. The crowd chants: “We want Jeff!”

>

>

> Sumo Showdown

> The Big Show vs. Akebono

> Pick: I have no idea what the rules are for this

> match. If it is Sumo style and Akebono doesn’t win

> then we should all kill ourselves. Akebono pulls it

> out. Much respect is given the Show. He gets pissed

> and digs up Big Boss Man’s grave and crusifies him

> in

> an impromtu Kettle in the Cell match.

>

> Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio

> Pick: Should be a show stealer. Eddie will take it.

> He

> is a former world champ who has taken a back-seat to

> Rey for too long. He wins this match and then heads

> up

> a Latino faction as US Champ.

>

> The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton

> Pick: Orton pulls out all the stops to throw off his

> game. He arranges for interferences’ses’es’esss’ss

> by

> all of Undertaker’s biggest rivals: Jake, Orton Sr.,

> Issac Yankam DDS, Hiedenriech , Poppa Shango, Barry

> Horrowitz, Jerry Flyn, 911, Sara, Paul Bearer,

> Gillberg, Maven, and Mordechai. It isn’t enough. The

> streak continues. Taker wins. Orton completes heel

> turn. Spot picks: Orton out of a choke slam. Taker

> out

> of a RKO. Taker Via Tombstone off middle rope.

>

> Kurt Angle vs HBK

> The HasBeenKid hasn’t deserved a win since 1995. He

> sucks. Angle is all anyone could ever want in a

> wrestler. A loss does him nothing. Its time for

> Angle

> to main event again. Angle wins via Tap-out. Kicks

> out

> of the kick to the face. Hits a moonsault.

>

> Piper's Pit featuring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

> Piper via sleeper-hold. Austin is fatter than ever.

> His knee brace’s laces come undone. He stuns Piper.

> The segment goes 18 seconds too long.

>

> Money In The Bank Ladder Match

> Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs.

> Christian

> vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kane

> The match I am looking forward to the most. I will

> be

> rooting for Christain, and think it would make the

> most sense for him to win, but I know better.

> Kanyon,

> Taz, Storm, Owen, Lynn, RVD, Booker, Jarrett,

> Ultimo….

> All wasted talents. Hard to be optimistic about

> Christian. Edge would make sense here. Maybe too

> much

> sense though. Official pick: Kane. They love having

> Kane win these things. Spot picks: ConChairtoe.

> Benjamin and Christian look like they almost die at

> least twice each. Lion Tamer on the ladder. Lion

> Tamer-Crossface combo.

>

>

> WWE Title Match

> JBL vs. Cena

> The self-proclaimed Wrestling God has been on a

> tear.

> Longest running champ in 10 years. Wow.Cena is the

> franchise though. I think his schtick is getting a

> little old. That normally means he is ready to take

> over. When I turn on a face, they have made it.

> Pick:

> Cena. He didn’t drop the US title for nothing. Spot

> picks. FU through a table. JBL blades. Each kick out

> of finishers. Interference by cabinet. FU off ropes

> does JBL in.

>

>

> World Title Match

> Triple H vs. Batista

> Batista is not a world champ. He can’t sell, can’t

> wrestle, can’t talk. It would be like giving the

> title

> to Goldberg. Wait…….. Oh crap. HHH lost at Mania

> last

> year. No way he jobs again. Pick: HHH Spot picks:

> Sledgehammer. Flair blades. HHH via Pedagree.
