Capt Rich Fla
leinart looks like he's been kicked in the nuts. He's a boo or two away from breaking down in tears. I know. someone should hand him some sunglasses to cover the little bit@$ tears. what a pretty boy.
cyfar
The Eagles are going to select my dad. Was he high on Kiper's board? Do you have a highlight clip?
Spartacus87
What's with all the hatred of Leinart now? Calling him a "chump," or any other names? He decided to return to college because he enjoyed the experience rather than immediately go for the big money, it wouldn't be an awful thing to see that more often in sports. Besides, it's not like going to Oakland and throwing the ball to Randy Moss is such a bad thing.
Gamebreaker
If the Raiders pick Leniart, it would be their best move in years.
jschlesi
^^wow that's a stat for you. Shows thier strategy with proven talent vs unknowns from the draft. I don't have too many qualms with that method either. I saw that stat on the scroll a few minutes ago. its why we are weak at depth...
jimster
the Pack might be smart to take Vernon Davis - good big target for Favre .....but I see them taking Hawk.
jschlesi
If we had not picked up Lloyd -- would you want to make a deal with GB for Javon? I love his skills and ability to make big plays. But, hate his mouth

The Raiders O can be fantastic with a littil better O-line play and a upgraded QB. Thats a good point.

And you know Leinart wasn't expecting to drop this far that's why he stayed. Figured he'd still be top 5.
bulldog
the Packers are a horrible team right now. taking a player to give Favre a target for one year at best would be a mistake. this team has problems on both lines and a secondary that can't cover anyone (Woodson means they still have 3 holes). taking a tight end here would be a mistake. Heidenreich
I hate AJ Hawk (cause I'm a michigan fan) but I think this is a good pick for green bay. He can go right in there & start from day one.

jschlesi
D'Brickashaw Ferguson struggles againts edge rushers. New Orleans in that division would not be a good fit for him. The only guy that beat him all year was Darryl Tapp-- He was Mr. Nasty during the Senior Bowl-- Sent some DE prospects into DAY TWO.... His run blocking needs improvement but -- you would expect that from a GROH offense
#1SkinsFan
If the Raiders pick Leniart, it would be their best move in years. No question about that. They would have replaced Collins and have a possible very good QB-WR combo in Leinart/Moss. I have the 49ers picking Vernon Davis which they probably will, and then Leinart will go right to the Raiders at #7.

bulldog
this pick for GB confirms that their own GM knows they are in rebuilding mode and reconstituting the 'core' of the team. If Favre returns he will be in Year 1 of that process. can't believe he really wants that.
