Or did they back off and let short ones go and play the clock? listened to some of game on radio in car travels, whole crew needs to be replaced, too many mistakes, no personalities, cannot get words out, could not figure out what was going on down on the field, what a total mess.

Some people seem to think we have a Oline and a great coach even last year and its the QB. PFF Numbers are golden too. Blocking blindside rushers at our own goal line had just as much to do with not winning either Giants games. Quick 7points turns game around, helps take Wash out of game plan and lose momentum. How does the same play not get blocked or DE, LB touched 2 games in a row at our own goal line? Why would you call the play if you cannot or think you do not have to block it? He had been tearing up the left side all night at that poiunt. Where was the adjustment for it not to happen again? It's not that coaches are totally running to save TH from blowing the game too. The OLine sucks on passing downs they did last year too and deserved just as much blame. He took shots to the back from the blind side at 2 games in a row at the goal line. It's a wonder he did not fumble the first game with the Giants and lose that game too. Defense played well enough to get a pass,Offense Coaches, QB, Oline share the blame altogether. If either had made a few less mistakes both games would have been won.

Was that great Oline in pass play last year before the blitz came? Cause it was not great after and running more no matter who the QB is if you want to win a few games and have your QB play the next week. At least TH has escape ability and pass play numbers for OL were better because of it too.

Another thing for the team is injuries healing at right time and hopefully staying that way. A bye week coming up, 8 and 5 would feel right at the break.

Taylor has been looking over his shoulder his hole football life is what I am guessing. Nothing new for him, nothing locked up for his future or next year. Seems to be more of a motivator for him than a deterrent. He has stuck with a NFL team, achieved goal and now wants to stick longer. Now he can improve on goals or what will most likely decide his future. He has many reasons to want to be focused, another being the Washington area he may want to stay, NFL starting QB or a top backup QB, He likes to add Nike shoes to his collection. This is a bonus for him and sees opportunity I am going to quess? like the longshot racehorse who keeps trying and sometimes win, it can happen. I think he will give us his best shot and that's what the team needs too. If Ron sat him for Wentz? I think he could Handle it and would give his best shot if he got another. So much more than Wentz on the line for Taylor.

They are both low level starters or backups, one makes 5mil one makes 28mil. easy choice. Oline is a big problem and not going to matter if the goat is back there. Below average pass blocking, average run blocking. Also why put your 3rd string rookie in there to take a beating when every QB we put back there gets a beating. At least TH has some quicks. These days D. linemen are bigger quicker faster and stronger. Need to upgrade OL also a do it all TE or 2. to help.

Taylor 2 years 10 mil with incentives for wins If he makes through season if he takes Wash. to playoffs it's going to cost more. Wentz needs to go regardless hope he is on bench rest of year, take what comp we get and ditch his 26 mil salary. No need to rush rookie.

As for the rookie QB let him play the last game of the season and only come in if Taylor goes down or out of playoffs, OL is too scary. TH deserves the chance and is more likely to stay standing. Wentz becomes a comp pick.

None of this is going to matter if the QB cannot be protected. Have we had a QB make it through a whole season in the last 12 years? It may not be a decision but a reality that TH behind this line is not going to make it through the rest of the season. Or the rookie either? Wentz could be back sooner than later? And lost again? Crytal ball says expect the unexpected when it comes to QB's and the draft in Washington.

Wentz stay in Washington should be over. He is a QB of the old NFL. One who is a stiff in the pocket and has no wall in front of him. He does not have the quick release or accuracy to make up for it. Starting TH the rest of the season or till the playoffs are over is the right move. He can escape the rush, blitz most of the time with his feet and quickness. He is your modern NFL QB, a little above average that makes other players have a better chance. A poor man's Mahomes. He will be around a long time as a backup or low-level starter. Wentz is on his way to being a backup and keeping the bench warm. It was a mistake for Rivera to sign Wentz as he stated unless Snyder really did have something to do with it. Just my opinion, we all have our own.

Stunts, blitzes, Oline falls apart. As I have been saying many times before the season started. We have a QB who only makes it worst and does not feel or move the right way most of the time. Heinicke took the blame and the Oline got put on a pedestal by most here because of numbers from so called experts. QB"s gets killed behind these lines we have had. Wentz could be the next QB to be lost for the season or career like the others. Heinicke would have not taken 9 sacks because he is mobile, but he is what he is, a good back up. Oline has to Pass and Run block not just the latter. With no adjustments to make the line better this off-season, Ron, coaches and top brass need to start looking over their shoulders. Time is running out and it will not be long before they are replaced or continue the same path as others before them and have no support from the fans.

Fred and PG they would have access 270 south to 495, many exits after crossing the river also whites ferry, or 15 point of rocks to leesburg. Frederick County 15 at point of rocks to 7 , cross Potomac at Brunswick to 7 or 270 south. Charlestown WV area has a lot of Redskins fans , they would take 7 on in or 340 to 270. VA DC so many exits off beltway depending where you are. 95 south also, 95 north for Richmond, Metro to Dulles , greenway. nice area for commercial. Dulless airport.

Heineke, is a good backup spot starter, should be no.2. Mobility and descent pocket awareness are factors in being able to get rid of the ball and escape the pressure. Wentz is going to get pressure and he has a habit of fumbling when in the pocket. Hope he holds onto the ball here. This is a great spot for Howell to sit and not get your head taking off while you adjust to the NFL. I do not have the faith in our OL as many do here, when the pressure comes, they mostly fold on passing downs. Look how many QBs have been KOed here recently. Heineke gets too much of the blame and he has mostly been able to still walk.

Maybe WFT is playing better without Schreff? line has looked better without him.

Tackling drills needed, start with Chase , easy sack decided he can now just push players and they fall down. How many extra yards do teams get after contact? I would like to see that stat. Oklahoma drill?

The O-line was bad last year and it has not changed this year. Overrated right guard that is average at best in pass game and no super star in the running game. No left tackle , average left guard , a center who is a bit overated always seems to be pressure up the middle. They fold up under the blitz. We are going to be looking for QB's on the street again this year. Cosmi needs to stay right where he is and learn, we know what we have at the other spots. The OL is going to be the problem just like last year. They picked on our rookie CB on the other side of the ball and he was there for the most part but good receivers and a hot QB with little pressure on him made the difference.
