I think if Turner was gone the new coach would see Howell is a dual treat as is Taylor a backup with similar style and take advantage of it. No more plotters like Wentz, if Howell is the Man.

I see Heinicke and Howell as having similar styles and the design to change with them. I hope both are here next year and Howell wins the starting job. Draft the same style. Keep Ron, Turner proved he has it his playbook this evening. They deserve 4 years after today. 8-8-1. Try to develop Howell he fits the running, mobile,style QB's of today. I do not think you are being mean. Just stating some of the problems with it. If it happens, it happens, I will say if we did beat the Cowboys ,I hope it works out this way, then we earned it? I had a 51point lead going with Burros and he had Allen in a money league, been playing 15 years, It brings up what now with a new game? But teams in other leagues with mutible players? Carr just got the ax and teammates like him, but they also understand changes have to be made. It's a job first when it comes to the Players or so they say. When contracts, wins and money are on the line they adapt to new things or they do not, and the team does what it thinks is best. Wentz,logan,Norwell, Lucas, Charles, Mline, should be first cuts. Resign Curl too, draft another CB, RB,TE,OL LB with first pick or trade down if it makes the team better, even trade down if better value. No reaching for a QB either. No tanking either, need a new approach for a QB, sit back maybe let the QB come to you go with what you got.

Check, Keep the D in tack add through the draft. Failures keep adding up at QB and time for a Tubbie redo. The QB we picked up off the streets has played better then the high priced over the hill cast offs we signed. We may get there if Payne and Sweat are let go to sign another cast off QB.

Would it not be a good thing having a safety valve for the QB that can move the sticks and keep the D honest. Gibson was the option but not sure he has the vision or quickness, he has the speed. (Eckler type) You can still play 2 backs. I am guessing it takes a little heat off OL too. If he is there for the taking, I do, even if RB value is later. Value must be equal later to pass. Gibson could be traded as he still can play at a good level and not helping much right now.

Not hoping he does win but plays well and make any thoughts of going out and getting another 28 mil dollar lost draft picks ringer plan off the table. Better draft position to help with team needs.

Taylor has been taking a ass kicking all 3 years, would be nothing new but he is 5-2-1 and lived through it on a 5 mil contract that he earned the hard way. Hope Howell holds up well and that the team finally has a future QB on the roster, on a rookie contract instead of another 28/40mil Chuck and Duck bust the team is so fond of.

He might just understand he is a backup and stay where he wants. thats what he is going to be elsewhere.
