In general players with limited size/athletic abilities compensade that with their mind and technique. Sounds like a good coach to me. He had limited size but didn't he have elite quickness for a MLB. I thought he ran a 4.4 or 4.5 coming out of school

But he'll be remembered for his active 240-game streak over the past 15 seasons. https://www.google.nl/amp/www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2013-nfl-combine-teo-runs-482-40/amp/

(If I remember right) I rather sign Charles Tillman. He and Norman could make our team elite ball punch guys. Let it rain fumbles.

In an analysis for great ILB play, Fletcher was clocked at a little slower than 4.38. http://www.si.com/vault/2013/08/26/106361063/london-fletcher-is-here-to-play http://bruce722.blogspot.com/2013/02/40-yard-dash-overrated.html
Burgundy Yoda
Edit - just saw Pleasant joining the rams in the twitter thread. Really don't know much about Aubrey, but Sean McVay sure picking us dry. Is it a normal thing for a new head coach to snag up so many coaches from his former team? We fired all the D coaches right? Aubrey didnt have a contract for the next season. So they where coach FA's. I think it's normal that new coaches want to take guys with them they worked with. Sean doesn't have a big pool of does...so most guys he knows are from our staff. Team like Atlanta already told Kyle that they want to keep there coaches. They don't let them go to SF. Well the Rams have Sean McVay, Joe Barry (who cares), and now Aubrey Pleasant. To be honest I thought they had Wes Phillips as well so I guess my point isn't really that valid to me anymore. We fired Barry, but had some hiccups with Pleasants contract I read. Whatever that was, we'll probably never know lol.

It would be nearly impossible to play mlb at that speed, on top of Cost her flying around and hitting like a missile.

In the article from SI, I was fascinated by the learn that at his original college, he was on a basketball scholarship. He played point guard but lost it because he played too rough. He only played one year of high school football and did not play again until he went to John Carroll.

Bang
I really like this hire as well. His resumé is very impressive. It's an "outside the box" hire.. I like the thinking it takes to make this move. Let's get aggressive! ~Bang
“Misdirection”
Im a biased Hokie but his results at VT and Florida cannot be disputed, this guy is a stud. Biggest offseason move so far. From the styles VT and Florida play, he's big on man coverage, especially trail technique.
ANONYMOUS SOURCE.
I'm also a biased Hokie but Gray is a great Pickup, hated to see him leave Tech. Love this hire?
