EmirOfShmo
Once she broke free from Ike, she did it her way all the way to the top. RIP Ms. Turner you'll be missed... 3

No Nonsense
Arguably one of the most amazing careers ever in music. She became an international star in her 40's. RIP Edited May 24, 2023 by No Nonsense 1 1

CRobi21
The hardest working woman in show business? The 2-part documentary HBO put out on her some years back was excellent. RIP

philibusters
Very sad. For whatever reason I thought she was 5 to 10 years younger than she actually was.

The Sisko
Tina Turner was brilliant. Her voice and stage presence were just incredible, and she was a damn nice-looking woman throughout her life. 59 minutes ago, philibusters said: Very sad. For whatever reason I thought she was 5 to 10 years younger than she actually was. I actually thought she was in her 90s. You might think that's a dig, but it's totally the opposite... LadySkinsFan
I heard that she had several illnesses and thought about her several weeks ago, she just popped into my thoughts. I am forever grateful that I was born when I was and got to hear so many great musicians and singers, and also got to see in concert. What a time to be alive.
