That said, I'd be curious to see who his group consists of. I do believe it's possible that a well connected former Duke athlete could round up a group with that amount of money. I don't believe it's likely, but I do believe it's possible. But I also agree with @Skinsinparadise, if this deal really is legit then how come Dan isn't scrambling to get the deal done? Brian Davis is the only member of the group willing to publicly identify himself at this time but there are several powerful "families" known to be firmly committed to the cause including... They will handle "waste management" for the team. He will be in charge of union relations and "painting rooms". He will be in charge of going to the mattresses, making the meatballs and most of all not forgetting the canollis. He will handle "spiritual matters" from beyond. He will be in charge of contract negotiations and "removals". And he will make offers that absolutely no one will ever refuse. They are prepared to pay Dan $7 billion dollars in tens and twenties as soon as an agreement in principle is reached. .
