Best actor to play a psycho

Thought it might be a worthy, light, non-political, Tailgate thread.

Who's the best actor, to play a psycho?

Me, I've had this scene, (actually, just one line), in my head, for years.  And wanted to share.  The guy who I think might be the absolute best.

I present:  Christopher Walken, in Biloxi Blues.

"Oh, I do.  I really do."

I think I need to give big props to the actor/movie that I think arguably might have created the archetype.  Andrew Robinson played "The Schofield Killer" in Dirty Harry.

Later went on to play Garack, the Cardassian spy, on DS9.

But there's been a bunch.

Javier Bardem - No Country for Old men

Him and his CO2 tank... Cold, calculated and creepy AF!

He's in the running.  Done a lot of really creepy, emotionally flawed, characters.  That one's certainly HoF material.

Agree on Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men.

Probably the most realistic and chilling depiction of a "primary" psychopath ever. Cold, calculating, patient, zero empathy, zero fear, shallow affect. ****ing creeeeepy.

This is the winner, not over the top just a real life depiction of a psycho. The coin flip, the complete emotional detachment from the murders.

He was also voted the most real psychopath by actual doctors.

Psychiatrists studied 400 movies to find the most realistic psychopath — here are their 6 key takeaways

Quote

Javier Bardem's character in "No Country for Old Men" is a classic psychopath, Leistedt and his colleagues concluded in their report.

Chigurh approaches murder with an uncanny sense of normalcy, perfectly happy to empty his trademark bolt pistol without so much as a wince.

"He seems to be effectively invulnerable and resistant to any form of emotion or humanity," the researchers wrote.

Gary Oldman in Leon: The Professional. The unnerving thing is that his evil is hidden in plain sight due to his job...and that such humans are/could be in those positions of authority.

You think people are out there praying to Javier Bardem? **** No!

"You know who I pray to? Joe Pesci. Two reasons: First of all, I think he's a good actor, okay? To me, that counts. Second, he looks like a guy who can get things done. Joe Pesci doesn't **** around. In fact, Joe Pesci came through on a couple of things that God was having trouble with."

And yeah De Niro plays great psychos. Was great as Max Cady.
