So I went with the next one i had in mind who is more obscure, with pick 207 the Jets take edge, Tyrus Wheat. As I was diving deeper in my watches of edge, he was one of my favorite later round types. Some swiss arm knife in his background -- played safety, LB, edge. 21 sacks in his college career. Decent in coverage when used that way. Good against the run. Plays with a lot of energy. But doesn't have some of the freak athleticism including bend-twitchiness that so many others in this class have. Still not a bad athlete though. Forsyth is solid prospect who also played some guard at Oregon. Not overpowering, but smart, athletic, and shows good technique. Has some physicality to his game, and has some good flashes of good tape, but is too inconsistent. Gave up a lot of big plays, and only has one career interception. I was so patient only to get snipped. And only becasue you snipped me, I am going all spelling police on you - it's Purdue with a U not an E!! 🙂 He woulod have been perfect at Atlanta. He is Taylor H with better accuracy in the intermediate routes and i think better decision making. But similar other traits. His 2021 when Purdue threw more was actually pretty damn good. Had 70% comp in 2021 and something like 28 TDs and 11 Int. People made them run a bit more. He loses accuracy deep. But he can drop dimes short to intermediate. Damn I wanted him for Atlanta behind Ridder and TH he might see the field. He should have a nice career as a backup and could even spot start.
