THEN call on McCarthy to come to the table to real solutions that aren't take cuts for the super wealthy or do anything to reverse this recovery. Warn that if they don't, things could go sideways. Probably done for political reasons in advance of Blinken's planned trip and meeting in China. US probably trying to use it as leverage in discussions.
