Other than the Vikes, the 49ers are definitely up there. And yes, I realize the 49ers are mainly due to injuries and not their own fault. Either way, spend the money on keeping the D tight and getting some more offensive weapons and the line tight. WIll be interesting to see what they do with Kirk. They have to keep him next year. But after 2021 his money is not gauranteed. Only $10M dead cap and $35M cap savings. If they keep him as is he is a $45M cap hit. They either restructure that down severely next yr or release him. Someone will sign him but not for anywhere near the money he is making now. He is actually lucky bruce is such a **** up. A competent GM would have kept Kirk here signing him earlier for less instead of taking the tag route which is expensive. Then it set him up for the MN contract which is way to high.
