Actually, it's uncle Charlie.  Ernie was the little kid.  Sick day material when in elementary school.

Yeah, and My 3 Sons added an adoptive son - Ernie - to really make it 'My 4 Sons'. Then they added an adopted daughter 'Dodie' (her brother is Leif Garret in real life).
