Without Soto:

1. Robles

2. Turner

3. Eaton

4. Kendrick

5. Cabrera

6. Castro

7. Thames

8. Suzuki/Gomes

9. Taylor/Stevenson

With Soto:

1. Robles

2. Turner

3. Eaton

4. Soto

5. Kendrick

6. Cabrera

7. Castro

8. Thames

9. Suzuki/Gomes

Alternatively, flip Eaton and Turner. But I think Eaton is better off after Turner for the sake of habit.

I’d actually say Eaton is our best option at leadoff with Robles second and Turner third but I think I remember him saying he doesn’t like leading off or some ****.

I came up with that order because

1. Robles is raking and has blazing speed

2. Turner is struggling at leadoff but his speed and talent earn him the extra at bats per game

3. Eaton has seen a lot of success behind Turner and routine is important

I just can’t see Eaton ever batting 3rd in a professional lineup.

Far too early to start tinkering with the lineup. We did have 11 hits yesterday, and just some terrible luck. Short season yes, but lets not overreact on a very small sample size.

Definitely not overreacting to move Robles up to the top of the order.

He did this early last year too, and everyone wanted to move him up after a couple of games. He finished with an 88 OPS+. Robles is going to be a stud, but lets let him prove it over more than 14 PAs.
