Bacon
I'm not either. The Nats have proven their superiority to most of these teams and for the rest they'll get the chance.
Forehead
Well right now, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs in a one-off. Purely by the numbers though, it is Philly. They have the worst run differential of all the possible contenders and their pitching staff is atrocious top to bottom. Brewers wouldn't be bad either. Curious to see if they win despite this in September or if that differential equals loses.

Warhead36
I predicted a few weeks ago that the Phillies would finish fourth.
Bacon
They fell apart last year down the stretch as well. The roster has talent but their pitching is super thin and Kapler is not a good manager by any means. Edited August 26, 2019 by Bacon
skinfan2k
what woudl the playoff rotation look like? WC- Max 1- Stras 2- Corbin 3- Anibal 4- Max 5- Stras?

I think Max can start WC and still start game 3 on regular rest. That would also make him available for relief appearance in game 5. If we win 1 & 2, I think Sanchez makes sense for game 3 to see if you can have Max start game 1 of NLCS.
Warhead36
Yeah Scherzer would definitely start game 3 of the NLDS. There is a day off between the WC game and the DS, and a day off between games 2-3. If we get to the CS it would depend on when it starts and when our DS ends, if we're somehow able to beat the Dodgers.

Bacon
Playing the O's is like hitting off a tee. If two runs sinks us, we deserve to lose.
