Wisconsin's Democratic governor sues Republican Legislature over blocking basic functions

Wisconsin Democratic Gov. Tony Evers on Tuesday sued the Republican-controlled Legislature, arguing that it is obstructing basic government functions, including signing off on pay raises for university employees that were previously approved.

Evers is asking the liberal-controlled Wisconsin Supreme Court to take the case directly, bypassing lower courts.

Evers said it was “a bridge too far” and “just bull s---” that Republican state lawmakers were telling 35,000 University of Wisconsin employees who were expecting pay raises to “stick it.”

“You can’t do that,” Evers told reporters at a news conference. “That’s why we’re suing and that’s why we’re going to win.”

Evers argues in the lawsuit that committees controlled by a few Republican lawmakers are being used by the Legislature to “reach far beyond its proper zone of constitutional lawmaking authority.”

Republican Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu dismissed the lawsuit as frivolous, saying in a statement that Evers was “working to diminish the voice of Wisconsinites by limiting the authority of the legislature and unduly strengthening his own administration.”

And Republican Sen. Steve Nass, who was also named as a defendant, accused Evers of attempting a “radical power grab” to "empower unelected state bureaucrats and minimize the constitutional oversight powers of elected state legislators.”

In addition to not approving the University of Wisconsin pay raises, Evers argues that the Legislature is blocking state conservation programs, updates to the state's commercial building standards and ethics standards for licensed professionals.

“Small groups of legislators exercise executive authority over large swaths of government activity,” the lawsuit argues. “The powers to create and to execute the law need to be separated again.”

Finally, undeniable proof the election was rigged!

You can clearly see where on each one of the ballets inside those cases it says "Biden"...and if you look close enough you can read the lips of the people in the video. That one dude says to the other dude "Are these all the illegal fake ballots for Biden?" and the other 2nd dude says "Yes, these are all the fake illegal ballots for Biden." First dude: "How many fake illegal Biden ballots are there, do you think?" 2nd dude: "Thousands." It's clear as day, folks.

Speaking of "clear as day," ignore that this video was supposed to have been taken over 3 hours after the polls closed but the sun is still shining...the Dems rigged the sun to stay visible for an extra 4 hours that day just to hide their crimes.
