Metalhead
I'm fine with Treinen, he's put in his time and continues to grow and improve. He's earned it, imo.
Warhead36
Its always easier to ease a young guy in. If Glover struggles early and you replace him, he could be done. If Treinein struggles early, you can always move him back to the 8th inning, its easier with veterans.

StillUnknown
if his control improves, he should be good just keeping the spot warm for Killah pretty good article on Treinen and his comparables to Britton: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/blake-treinen-is-going-to-close/
Bacon
Treinen earned it. He had a solid 2016 and showed brilliance here and there. Koda looks to be the future though.
Riggo#44
Wanted Killer Koda, but I'm fine with Balakay. He's been very good the last 2 years. I'd like to see his walk rate decline a bit--4.2/9 is not ideal. But with his sinker and ability to induce GIDPs like they're going out of style, I think he'll be good. AND....Opening Day in just: This makes me feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.

Note that attending the Annapolis game is by invitation only. The Naval Academy baseball field seats about 1,500 and seats are for midshipmen only and some select Navy personnel. ixcuincle
if you hit a home run with the Nationals in MLB The Show 17, Matt Vasgergian will say, "And as Nationals fans know so well, See, you, later" after he home runs. Pretty cool reference.

Warhead36
Rendon is the Nats version of Jordan Reed or Brad Beal(pre 2017 Beal at least). If he could just stay healthy consistently he'd be one of the game's best.
