I was born in Florida.  Moved to Atlanta from Jax, just a few miles away from what I call "their final home".  It's beautiful and the cement benches are inscribed with Charlie Daniels' writings/lyrics.  I had met Allen, he lived a few streets over after his accident.  My best girlfriend in junior high's dad was one of their (and Rossington/Collins) truck drivers, how I first got into Southern rock.
