I was like 'who?' when i saw this..  googled him..  apparently he plays basketball for the raptors..  was traded 4 times already this offseason.  guessing Keim thinks he can play TE ala Antonio Gates or something..  but he's thirty freaking four..  and even Keim knows that doesn't match the profile of what we'd be looking for, so don't understand why he'd even tweet that.  The only trade I'd personally consider would be for Martellus Bennett who's currently in a contract dispute with the bears.

 

EDIT: I think i'm losing it.. haha.  completely disregarded the 1st part that says ".. won't make it on the air ..".  this was obviously something that Keim knows is not going to be discussed or considered..  :blush:

I think that next year Grant could really breakout.  I could easily see them parting ways with both Roberts and Garcon next offseason, leaving Grant to be the #2 and Crowder to be the #3 if he pans out.  Drafting good receivers, like the packers, really helps your offense without breaking the bank.

If Grant and Crowder both work out... It'd be the Smurfs all over again with Jackson, Garcon, Grant, Crowder, and Reed/Paul. No one to fill the Art Monk role, but fast and shifty... maybe even more the Greatest Show On Turf more than the Smurfs. Mind you, we are a long way from that. Charlie Brown, Monk, Didier, Alvin Garett were special in '82 and '83.
