I still stand by Trey Williams being better than Chris Thompson...whether there is room for either on the 53 is extremely questionable, but if there IS, I'm betting it's Williams. He also has an unfair advantage to stick around because he's PS eligible and I doubt Thompson still is.

Now you just jinxed him. :)

I HATE it when they do that kind of stuff on TV.

Who cares what Kanye West & Kim Kardashian name their kid. I just hope Jessica Biel names her next kid Batmo.

He can name his kid whatever he wants, just as long as he never tries to do a cover of a Queen song again:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao3OxBjTY00

EDIT: Oops, looks like they took the video down because it sucked so bad. Well, I found another one. Just so you all can feel as embarrassed for him as I do. I hope he tries to cover Guns and Roses next. One where Axel Rose screams super high.

I still stand by Trey Williams being better than Chris Thompson....

He's at least better if only because, as far as I know, he has no injury history.

I listened to this, according to Jason Reid, Brunell more or less said RG3 has regressed and doesn't expect him to be a successful NFL QB.   Mike Jones jumped on for a segment and argues with the point.   Reid then tries to isolate Jones by saying that Brunell is speaking the consensus of other former Qb's in the league.  Jones said that's not true.   Jones kicks in that even Shanny is optimistic about RG3's chances if you give him time.  Reid says that Shanny isn't telling the truth when speaking publicly, privately he feels differently.  Then C. Paul said in that same segment, the NFL Live guys were critical of Jay, how is Jay going to look in all of this, they get into Jay's open criticism of RG3 -- J Reid kicks in by implying the players he doesn't think would have big issues with shots at RG3 because he isn't liked in the locker room.

Edit:  they start taking calls.  Some complement RG3, Reid lets the comments go.  One just calls, more or less says RG3 can't really do anything but throw screen passes, he can't throw deep, out routes, you name it, can't read defenses, -- its not the coaches fault when you have a QB who can't do much.  Jason Reid listens and says at the end of the callers rant, that is a really smart man.

More or less how I imagined it would go, which is why I wouldn't bother even trying to listen in.

I absolutely love those writers and sports analysts who give factual, field-based critiques on Griffin's play last year, showing film breakdown, still shots, discussing patterns and "tells" he demonstrated in the 9 games he started, what areas he improved in, what areas he regressed in, what areas he remained constant in whether they be good or bad...I like having a dry, analytical assessment of his play.

What bores me to tears is when I hear twaddle like what Reid vomits out regularly, telling us how much the players like or don't like the guy, the eyerolling "what's being said publicly and on record is all lies, even by people who have no reason whatsoever to lie"--at least when what's being said publicly goes against what Reid believes, and the yawn-inducing conspiratorial convos about how every decision that Reid disagrees with "has Snyder's fingerprints all over it".

I agree with almost all of these predictions, except one.  I don't think Reiter is on the bubble nearly as much as some of the other lineman, like LeRib.  I would think that he has higher upside and more rope.....

I can't recall a reporter or in this case an ex-reporter of the WP so over the top on one player and so comically extreme.   As I said they took calls on the issue and the one call where a guy basically said RG3 really can't do anything well outside of throwing screen passes and he just plain stinks at just about everything else -- that's when Reid chimed in and said "there is a smart man".   Wow.

The whole twitter exchange posted by Haphazard where an article was posted where Brunell said the opposite about RG3 was via me, i am Mike@skinsfl.  I had a few twitter exchanges with Keim, Jones about it -- Jones forwarded the tweet to Reid.   Basically, before the 2014 season Brunell was high on RG3, called him a great young QB, etc.  Then in Jan 2015, he said he still thinks he can do it.  Now in the same off season, Brunell says he doesn't think he can do it.  To each their own but interesting and a bit weird considering obviously there weren't any new games to judge between Jan and June.
