I didn't notice the vanisher cameo until I researched at home after

The Evil Genius
Saw Deadpool 2 last night. Even if it was 80%of the movie that the first one was, it will still a fantastic Deadpool movie. All that was missing was the "I'm the juggernaut, ****". ?
visionary
Anyone else checked out Wolverine The Long Night, a podcast/radio drama on Sticher Premium? I've been using a free week to listen to another show and heard about Wolverine while doing so. I listened to the first 2 episodes so far and it's pretty good but don't expect a lot of action, at least early on. It's more of a mystery/drama so far. https://www.wolverinepodcast.com/ Edited May 30, 2018 by visionary

I do remember him being pretty damn solid, considering how the overwhelming majority of non actor actors don't take it seriously enough
Gamebreaker
Lucy Liu directed the first episode. I think that was a mistake. I found some of the dialogue cringy and the overuse of music during scenes distracting. Second episode is better so far. Steph Green has a better handle on the tone of the show, imo.

Going Commando
I didn't really like this first episode of Luke Cage. The tone was choppy and dull and preachy. Too many snappy, heavy-handed lines and moments and not enough authenticity and narrative focus.
Gamebreaker
"Sugar, tell me something sweet or I'm a get bitter." My eyes rolled out of my head and haven't come back since I watched that scene.

Going Commando
The fat man Christone Kingfish Ingram who sings the BB King and Screamin Jay Hawkins covers in episode 4 is magnificent. He has the voice of a king.
Gamebreaker
This Shades and Mariah romance is the most unrealistic thing on a TV show about a bulletproof superhero. That other detective that Misty keeps arguing with is fine as hell. Edited June 24, 2018 by Gamebreaker
88Comrade2000
Currently on Episode 7. After episode 1, Season has been good so far. I agree the Shades/Mariah romance is unbelievable.
Going Commando
I wouldn't mind if they gave Misty her own show. She's terrific. I'd watch a Knight/Wing show.

And the show provides a ready explanation for his escalating violence and irrationality. And I can't get enough of listening to that Jamaican creole that they speak.

Always preferred when villains had their own thing that wasn't necessarily dependent on the hero. Bushmaster never set out to be a thorn in Cage's side, just happened that their paths intersected. StillUnknown
Finished Luke Cage. Not sure I like the ending, that transition seemed kind of quick. Much better overall than season 1, but not as strong as the Cottonmouth half of season 1.
