I was responding to them saying only took two weeks for Griff to get hurt. I see games with huge masses of empty seats, including Den v KS, division rivalry, with a heart attack game down to the final play.

Oh, I thought it was a reporter talking about the Skins game.  I about **** myself.  

 

I'm just too used to the media bias.  Definitely seems like you're right, they're missing some larger stories.

Cooley on the post game show said the field was great. He said it was just one of those freak things. He broke an ankle once running a route, no contact it just snapped. These things happen sometimes.

I don't know. just like people want to say RG3 has a "history", so does that field. I'm inclined to waive that presumption of innocence and say that its probably at fault.

The Redskins are on pace for 80 sacks. (I love week 2 projected stats).

 

see...i just dont see how anyone can determine how many sacks a team is on pace for after just the 2nd game...each game is different. for all we know, the redskins could go blank on sacks for the rest of the season...then they would only have 10 sacks on the season by seasons end.

Statistics can say anything you want,  5 sacks a game average x 16 = 80.  Now how often are you going to average 5 sacks a game?

Probably never.  Although it does say a few things about the rumor that Shannahan was calling some of the defensive plays.  Totally different defense now with the defensive coaches running the defense.

The #Redskins' 41-10 victory over the #Jaguars was only their 3rd win by 31 points or more since the end of Joe Gibbs' 1st term (1992).

 

Lost amid all the action today: Punter Tress Way was tremendous as kickoff-specialist today. Hadn't kicked off since he was FR at Oklahoma.
