SteveFromYellowstone
This just came on ESPN. Essentially they are blaming it all on the coaches. I am kind of torn on this, Redskins get huge salary cap ramifications for not breaking a rule but then this happens. I do think the NFL's evidence was very shoddy though. MrSilverMaC
I am not sure how anyone thought that the NFL knew what they were talking about halfway through this thing after all their ridiculous claims got shot down one by one in front of the media. terpskins10
I like it because it undermines the hell out of Goodell.
HOF44
Man I miss Tagliabue. The Goodell/Mara pairing is just bad for the NFL.
SteveFromYellowstone
Man I miss Tagliabue. The Goodell/Mara pairing is just bad for the NFL. Goodell can never admit when he is wrong. If the league makes a decision he will never ever go back on it. I don't think he is the right person to be deciding these type of things.
KDawg
This is good. Now the 'Skins/Cowboys can ask for Tagliabue to oversee getting us our ****ing salary cap money back.
spjunkies
Goodell looks like an even bigger tool than before LMFAO. Love ya, Paul!
rebornempowered
This is good. Now the 'Skins/Cowboys can ask for Tagliabue to oversee getting us our ****ing salary cap money back. Time to demand that Tags oversee the other issue of the recent off season. If he can be called in for one he can be called in for the other. trimee
God, I hope this is the beginning of the end for Goodell. This seriously undermines his power!
ejay183
I wish Paul was still the commish. Goodell needs to go and take his buddy, Mara, with him.

pjfootballer
This is why I couldn't understand why Dallass and Washington gave up fighting the cap penalties. Take it to the bitter end.
Destino
Goodell's credibility has taken an absolute beating this year. A lot of people attacked the players believing they were refusing to take responsibility and that the league had proof as Goodell claimed.
Cliffmark1
any news on the coaches suspensions? Vilma missing one year is bad for his bank account but banning GG from NFL destroys a much expanded earning potential and career.
Ludomaniac
Anything to undermine Goodell is great news! I hate that guy!
Gurgeh
This is why I couldn't understand why Dallass and Washington gave up fighting the cap penalties. Take it to the bitter end. They're different fights. This fight is basically some players versus Goodell, trying to prove the NFL takes players health seriously even though the evidence barely merits it. Our fight is two owners (in our case, a very unpopular owner) versus all the other owners over practices that ended up costing the other owners money, which in NFL terms is the ultimate sin. MrSilverMaC
The funny part here is Vilma won his appeal and still has his active lawsuit against goodell for defamation. If this doesn't kill his power the lawsuit will.
