SkinsCrushCowboys
I thought that they said last night that they were looking at his other hip? Best of luck JB, but this nagging injury that is still requiring rest only a week into camp makes it necesary to seek other options at RT. I just think that whatever he has is just not getting better.

SWFLSkins
I would more than wonder if Brown is capable of playing a full season if he can't play through the injury in camp. I hope some of our other guys step up and the Redskins never have to look back for a competent RT.
DiscoBob
The news on Brown is not necessarily "Good" just because he isn't out for the season. The real question is whether he will be able to play for most of the snaps...hurting your already ailing hip during wind sprints is a bad sign... He won't see more than a series (if that) in the preseason. ---------- Post added August-1st-2012 at 10:05 AM ---------- The news on Brown is not necessarily "Good" just because he isn't out for the season. The real question is whether he will be able to play for most of the snaps...hurting your already ailing hip during wind sprints is a bad sign... Yeah, that downward dog really hooked him up. I also don't think he'd be the type to do an injury settlement based on the fact that he was a diva last year prior to signing. Plus, this is probably it for him at his age. amm0409
When I read this tweet, and if Morris keeps it and plays well during pre-season I hope he finds a way on the team. What do you guys think? LL @LL_HTTR247 Would you keep 4 TEs if it meant cutting Morris ? I would go with 3 and use Lorenzo as that 4th TE and keep Morris. ---------- Post added August-1st-2012 at 10:07 AM ---------- I will go ahead and translate this. He won't see more than a series (if that) in the preseason. Im ok if he doesn't play any pre-season, game let him rest. Am I thinking wrong? I understand that some sort of time playing before season would help his play, but ---------- Post added August-1st-2012 at 10:11 AM ---------- I know this isn't about the redskins but Dan Graziano @espn_nfceast So with Trent Cole now injured (AC joint), Eagles are without both starting DEs. Their good news is that this stuff is happening early. ---------- Post added August-1st-2012 at 10:12 AM ---------- what happens if Helu, Royster, and Morris make team and Hightower doesn't? Mad Mike
Banks will make this team! Banks is still a long shot. We drafted a wr/return guy for a reason. Banks has shown very little as a receiver and for all of his speed and potential, has yet to break out on returns. If he's the best man and he makes the team, more power to him. If not, I wish him well wherever he lands.
milliondollarslim
If JB can get his health and play decently, he at the least can provide depth behind Polumbus. Maybe it would be better for him if he doesn't try to play in all 16 games anyway. I like the guy and hope he gets well and plays well.

What do you guys think?LL @LL_HTTR247 Would you keep 4 TEs if it meant cutting Morris ? I would go with 3 and use Lorenzo as that 4th TE and keep Morris. Full disclosure, I'm all for Cooley not making this team (cap ramifications pending, obviously) but I've been excited about watching Morris ever since we drafted him. He runs like an ox. Squares up quick and goes. He doesn't seem to be the type of back that will be leaving a lot of yards on the field.
amm0409
about an hour ago, LL @LL_HTTR247 Dumbest reason to keep a player. Losing teams make decisions like that. RT @skins2191 @LL_HTTR247 http://bit.ly/OnuA1K within that tweet (reply), and i would assume this is just an opinion because I don't see information backing it? is it true c4man5282 @c4man5282 @LL_HTTR247 @skins2191 Snider also said yesterday that Shanny hasn't done enough drafting of OL. Man, he's such an idiot... He didn't say his career was likely over, that was someone saying if JLC reports he's okay, then he's probably done playing football. I agree with that guy, if JLC says one thing, it usually means the opposite. So, I'll be waiting for a team confirmation, or at least another reporter to say it. pjfootballer
Are we going to sit here all day and cry about Jammal Brown? Bunch of damn babies. I want to hear about more than Brown's hip. Give it a rest. If you want to talk about JB, go to NLC's offensive line thread or the training camp injury thread. He's injured. We ALL know that. Get over it and support the guy who will replace him. There is just no sense in continuing to rehash this injury day after FREAKING day. Enough. Now on to the other 89 players in camp. ---------- Post added August-1st-2012 at 10:48 AM ---------- At least Armstrong listened to the team about his eyes. CARLOS??? Carlos??? Where are you?
