    The Bruce Allen/GM Thread

Wouldn't surprise me if this was true. Also, wouldn't surprise me if Jay said that to ease any backlash that he knows is coming this season to save whatever face he has left. We all know what's going to happen. We're going to have the same mediocre season we've had the past few seasons. We're going to miss the playoffs. After this year the coaching staff will be fire, but Bruce will stay. It's just going to be rinse and repeat. I do like Gruden and I agree he'll get, at the very least, an OC job right out of the gate. In the right situation I think he'll find success as a head coach.

    2019 Comprehensive Draft Thread

I believe Rosen has a high ceiling, but playing in Arizona you wouldn’t have been able to tell.

    The Bruce Allen/GM Thread

I’m cool with Rosen for anything but a 1st. Maybe a 2nd and a player. It’s highly probable we would’ve spent a 1st or 2nd on a QB this year anyway. I love Rosen’s potential, but it didn’t really have a chance on a Cardinals team with a treacherous o-line, and not one coach that knew how to use David Johnson.
  4. I don’t think I’ve ever read where coaches wanted to make a mass exodus from a team in recent memory. So glad of the potential of Bruce and Dan being put on blast nationally. No where to hide now, jackasses.
  5. No one wants to come here. They know it’s a lame duck year and they’ll be looking for a job before 2020. Our dysfunction is nationally recognized. Also, why is the defensive staff taking all the heat when our offensive staff was even more putrid? This is throwing **** against the wall and hoping something sticks. Dan and Bruce have run out of moves. It’s obvious they’re trying to create the perception change is coming, but the fact is, this is checkmate for the coaching staff and front office, but they don’t want to concede. It’s painfully obvious they are panicking, thinking letting a DB coach fall on the sword would appease the fan base. There is nothing this staff can do to make it right. Time is up. It’s like the on again off again girlfriend you keep holding onto, hoping she wises up. Eventually you’re so over it there’s nothing she can do to fix it. BLOW THE WHOLE ****ING THING UP!

    Evaluating Jay Gruden in 2018

Bruce and the gang are back for another year of dismal football. Hide ACLs, hide your fibulas, and hide your tibias cuz everyone’s going on IR out here.

Per TMZ: Reuben Foster Cleared of Charges

He's young, he's serviceable, takes away a draft need that could be used on another position now. I hate Bruce and want him gone as much as anyone, but he got this one right. We can sit here and say he isn't vindicated, there's still more to this, etc, etc, but the charges were DISMISSED by a court of law. This was a good move by the Redskins and should pay off. PS - The blind squirrel has found a nut.

    The Bruce Allen/GM Thread

The fact that any front office person, not previously in the gang or of Redskins lore, can't even last a year here has made perception a reality. Bruce has backed himself into a corner. If they would've replaced GMSM after his release, there could be some doubt that it was something other than Bruce's ego. Same scenario with Lafemina. Bruce thinks he's just using scapegoats, but he's actually removing any doubt on the problem being anything but him.

Perfectly put. 100% on the money.

Probably to get out of the states before he announces the circus is staying in town.

The hammer would have already dropped. You don't take this much time to make a decision while other teams in the league are scurrying to find new head coaches/front office to hire. Actually that would be something Snyder would do. Now I have confused myself....

So what’s the over/under on Bruce’s **** ass trotting Doug Williams out at the end of year presser to face the firing squad?
  13. The gang will all be back next year. With this organization it would’ve already been leaked if major changes were coming.

Enough is enough. A fond farewell.

You're picking the right time root for the Bears. A lot of youth a promise there. Seems like somebody would take a page out of their book and try to duplicate it, but who am I kidding?
  15. Gibbs isn't coming back. With his age and Nascar success why would he? Why ask for a headache when life is already good? He's already went through one stint with Dan, I seriously don't see him going through another. I think it will most definitely be someone for the Redskins glory days. Dan thinks nostalgia is a quick fix for the fans. Our team is horrible let's go get Gibbs. We're the laughing stock of the NFL let's hire George Allen's son. Oh no, they hate George Allen's son! Let's get Doug Williams to fall on the sword.
