ahh,, the younger women vice.

Handled. My wife looks about 20 years younger than she is, she's athletic and in outstanding shape. Not an ounce of fat.

It's funny, because people usually think I ran off and got myself a trophy wife, when it was the opposite... the ex ran off.

I just ended up better. It has made for some interesting moments at little league games when people find out otherwise.

This euphemism really hasn't gotten enough play in this thread.

The shameless part is probably me pimping my book. Part of me is embarrassed about it. The other part of me is just happy to share, celebrate, and crow a little bit about the fact that my book is finally out in the universe and that apparently people are liking it enough by checking out the preview that they are giving it a shot.

You will not get anywhere (at least while you're still alive) by being a meek little mouse about your successes. It's your JOB to crow about yourself right now. You're INCOME relies on it. Don't feel the least bit concerned and if anything maybe we will help you get better at it. Not to suggest your bad or anything. We do everything better when we practice.

I'm not great at it. I'm a bit apologetic which is supposedly the wrong way to go. Mind you, I'm not apologetic about the work... the work I believe is great and worthy. I'm more apologetic about self-promoting... despite my ES persona I'm by nature pretty humble

Soda. Diet. But still soda. I don't drink it like I used too,(4 52 oz. mountain dews a day),but still enjoy them several times a week. Get a few double takes by the cashiers at the store sometimes too as a result. Fish,fresh veggies,1.5 liter 99 cent soda.

I don't smoke. I don't over eat (my wife is a cardiac nurse) I exercise somewhat regularly. I don't gamble,I don't watch much TV.

But, what I do, do is I buy records and older stereo equipment like it's going out of style, oh wait, all of it is out of style. I've got 0ver 5,000 records, 50 reel to reel tapes, 3,000 CD's a bunch of 8 tracks and cassetes. 14 turntables 6 receivers, 3 8-tracks 4 cassette player/recorders. 5 reel to reels and a bunch of misc equipment, equalizers, speaker switches, amplifiers, CD recorders, a mini disk recorder/player etc. 12 sets of speakers. I even have a neat little VW bus record player nicknamed the vinyl killer. I buy them and fix and clean them then I can't seem to sell them.So I have a whole 2 rooms full of this 'JUNK' as my wife calls it.

I don't know if it's shameless but that's my vice.

And all I got was two turntables and a microphone.

Don't do it all that often but love me some Red Man chaw every now and then. And the occasional Copenhagen tin. My problem is when I do buy it, I burn thru it like a fiend. It's the perfect companion for a round of golf.
