They have to at least make it seem like they waited until 4pm to start negotiating or risk tampering charges. We almost gone one over Haynesworth who signed within a few hours of the start of FA. Overall its a fair trade, but not a home run. They are sayin Cutler will provide structure for Marshall. Can you imagine Cutler as your baby sitter? But then if we tried that, Mara would just refuse to approve the deal, accuse us of tampering, and demand that all $36 mil that we're been punished with be applied this year.
