Burgold
Wanted to also give some special love to one of our seventh rounders... a guy who was picked with darn near the very last pick of the draft... Chris Nield. Came in and played some very meaningful minutes and as a Nose Tackle not only pressured the QB, but contributed to two sacks. Not sure if he was credited it with them, but he was part of them. Major props to our rookies today
Mr. S
He was definitely impressive, didn't think he'd even be starting for that much, but apparently he's ready!

WVSkinsfan
I told you this guy will contribute really early for us. He is a hard working football player that will play his butt off every single game. 2 tackles-2 assists - 2 sacks....
Burgold
So cool to see our pups have bite. No one tell Chris that a seventh rounder ain't supposed to do that or Ryan that Defensive linemen are supposed to struggle when converting to linebacker... I know both will have growing pains, but what a debut.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Dream start for the kid. 2 full sacks and a forced fumble in your pro debut. Boys own stuff. Great to see the rooks contributing so quickly. Hail.
skinsfan1523
Young guys were getting it in today. This team just looks like it likes playing football, and with each other. It seems we have a nice infusion of young and old. Hope we don't lay an egg next week, like we have been prone to do. That would show me something. Symbol
This team has some very good young guys, not just the rookies, though loved the rookies. Great job drafting by ShannAllen.
HailToTheRedskins14
I was impressed with both him and Kerrigan. Helu had one run. Did any other rookies get in? Paul? I heard Hankerson was inactive.
Dan T.
This taste of success right at the start of his career has to be a huge confidence boost for him...
Springfield
Hell of a start several of our rookies and young players.
Burgold
Paul fielded a short punt, seemed indecive if he should chuck it back to Banks, and then stumbled forward for about five yards. Not bad, but not good. He looks to have done his job in punt returns because the Giants had no returns to speak of.
gamecokskins703
I think Chris Nield is gonna be a steal for us this draft. I hope him and Jenkins are able to provide possibly starting roles and at the very least quality depth for the next couple years.

Niles Paul was in for at least one punt return. They must have put him and Banks back as double returners on one punt. He fielded a short punt in front of Banks on the play. NoVaSkins21
I'll credit Nield plus Shanahan and Allen for drafting this guy knowing that he would be a contributor. I could easily see this guy as a third round pass rusher.
KAZEstrong
As a WVU student I thought I was being biased when saying how good I though Neild would be in the league, but he affirmed my statements today.
Campbell's_da_man
That rookie showed that he is hungry!!! I thought he got there a hair before Fletcher, so it appears that he got two sacks in very limited playing time. You gotta love his motor!!! And being only 6' 0", he is able to get under linemen for leverage.
skinsfan66
Paul was on punt return, Helu carried the ball at least 1 time.
Conn
I was screaming for us to take Nield with our very last pick when he was still on the board. Thought it was a GREAT value pick at the time, and think so even more now.
Luca Brasi
Everything I've heard about Neild suggests that having this type of success early on is only going to make him work harder. I am super excited for him.

Goskinz0721
Rocky Mac played a very, very good game today. Not a rookie or young-un, but he had a good game.
