Nike: new uniform design from nike (Fake, Thank god)

Honestly, I think these are horrible. That being said, I feel like they ripped the shoulder feathers off my goofy designs from last year. I like using feathers, but not so many. I preferred it on the pants.

It has to be up to the team; only thing Nike can change is the material of the jersey and placment of logo I believe, But I don't know how some of you think that helmet is ok or good it just plain sucks, butt ugly; we have the BEST colors and decale in the league why change that?????? I hope we never will.

Well, Nike is planning on making changes.

Q&A: Nike Brand Pres. Charlie Denson on NFL Deal

Darren: Many fans want to know how much you are going to change the jersey. Will it be similar to what you've done in college with pretty significant overhauls?

Denson: We plan on changing the NFL jersey dramatically just like we've done with the college programs, using new thinking and the greatest technology available. The NFL program hasn't had the same type of advancement in recent years.

The phrase "just like we've done with college programs" implies that they may go with the Pro-Combat look.

Liked the 2009 ones though:

The changes are most likely to be the fabrics and design of the jersy itself. Not the graphics or color scheme.

Nike has college teams, even big ones like Ohio State, by the balls. They can literally do anything they want, and the school will comply. When you have a contract that encompasses an entire league instead of individual schools, things change.

You'll have most teams stay with their current designs, and you'll have teams with ****ty jerseys like Minnesota and Arizona get worse. It's just how it is.

If anyone wants to keep up with this stuff, here's a blog that is up to date. It's fairly popular, but I'm not sure how many people around here read it.

Hopefully, but "dramatic changes" could mean more than fabric. If its just the fabric then so be it, the new Pro-Combat fabric is a crazy upgrade over older uniforms. Much tougher, lighter and cooler.

Well, considering the amount of cash the schools get from Nike its not THAT bad. The fans will ***** and moan but the AD can't really turn down that money.

Things like how it is stiched with the different angles and patterns/fabrics for movement and such.
