Hersh
This is a yikes quote considering the team is only 29 games into the season with a brand new coach.

Nevermind that Shep's plan was to keep Westbrook. On 11/17/2021 at 12:49 PM, Destino said: Agreed, this is premature. He wanted Brooks back too. Scotty, in the most Scott Brooks of moves, talked his way out of a contract extension. remember these hot takes? You guys still sure we were wrong in saying the extension was premature? Wizards are a dumpster fire at the moment.

Prepare to get blown out by Phoenix. Dinwiddie is unplayable right now. He’s an awful defender so when he’s sleep walking on offense he’s a massive negative. Team needs to have him checked out by specialists, and if he’s even remotely injured sit him down for a while. Whatever is wrong with him, be it mental of physical, he’s not competing. Can’t have a rotation player in the NBA that isn’t competing, let alone your starting point guard.

Renegade7
Gooden needs to stop with this nonsense of them needing to prove they are a "top 3 team or one that barely gets in the play-in". Jus because we started 10-3 doesn't mean we are a top 3 team, we knew we didn't have top 3 talent walking in. Unrealistic standards don't help this conversation, let's come back to reality. At one point they were overachiever, now they are underachieving, but at no point should anyone of seriously taken this team as a top 3 squad. Not after 13 games. I kept thinking, "Anyone can be a hot team in the first 10 games because even the best teams are still warming up." I think I was spot on. We were able to surprise a lot of people and a lot of opponents. Now, we are what we thought we'd be before the first game of the season was played.

I know, and ill ask again, when did he actually say that, or are you jus saying he probably thought that? I'm not trying to call you out, if he said that, he deserves to be blasted for it. 1 hour ago, Chachie said: I kept thinking, "Anyone can be a hot team in the first 10 games because even the best teams are still warming up." Yea, I was concerned on if this was a playoff team before the season started, even posted that here. I believe we can still get in, but it depends on us playing somewhere between where we are now and how we started the season. We keep up what we are doing now we are a lottery team, which is below even my low expectations for this season.

TradeTheBeal!
A max SG who shoots 27% from 3pt isn’t a long-term fit anywhere. 2

Renegade7
I turned it on jus in time to see Beal rubbing the bridge of his nose with eyes closed. I haven't seen him do that since between Wall being healthy and trading for Westbrook where it seemed no matter what he did we lost. I once said 30 ppg SG dont growing trees, and thats still true, but Beal is not currently scoring 30ppg. I keep waiting for him to wake up, but I dont know why he's asleep first. This could cost him money, he has to know that.
Going Commando
They're coming off the shortest offseason in NBA history and Beal has carried a massive workload of minutes and usage the last three seasons. He's worn down. Same thing has happened to Lillard. They need to take a gap year like the Warriors did. Dinwiddie and Hachimura were supposed to help carry the load this year and they obviously haven't even come close to pulling their weight. Kuzma and Harrell picked up that slack early in the season but came back down to reality and now we're losing again. Beal's not our problem. Our problem is that Dinwiddie and Bertans have been trainwreck signings and we're getting no contributions from our draft picks other than Avdija. Thinking Skins
The problem is that Beal had COVID and is now winded and doesn't have his lungs back. I don't know why its not being focused on but he is obviously different, like Cam Newton was last year. I've heard about a lot of runners having similar problems. It wasn't that bad when we could rely on other guys but when its falling on him, we're seeing that he's not the same guy.
Destino
Letting him go so we could keep a some of the bums at the end of our roster seems like madness now. Especially given that no one on this team can sink a three.
CRobi21
Looked like a disaster early on. Settled in and lead by 3 at the half. Deni was great on both ends!
