Higgs44
How did he ever make the team??? Hes as slow as anyone Ive ever seen back there.
COWBOY-KILLA-
Would love to see Keiland in there as a number two to Portis. I'd also cut LJ, bring Torain back, and roll with the young back ups....
Spooky
I agree, what a bone head play. But I was ready to bench Sellers after last week. Honestly, with the player turn over, new coaches and schemes I am suprised they are this good, especially with the mistakes they are making. I'll give everyone a pass for the first few weeks. WhoRUSupposed2Be
I agree with TK. You really could not tell which one was in the Witness Protection Program because they both were so and so during the preseason.
h8dacowgirls
He hit the holes softer than TJ Ducket. LJ is washed up just like CP
wdcredskins
not sure what the coaching staff really saw in him? this guy is useless so far. what a waste of a roster spot
iMeast
He did look pretty terrible. I would be happier with Ryan Torrain or Keyland Williams as CP's backup. HTTR
justice98
He's had 5 carries in two games though. LJ has never been, and will never be effective touching the ball like that. There aren't too many backs in football that will be. If you're going to use him like that, you might as well not have him around. My guess is he's just Portis insurance more than a true compliment. MasterSplinter
He looks awful. Real slow, no burst, no vision, bad decisions and not so much of that power he's supposedly famous for. We've needed a change up back to compliment Portis forever. Go and get some speedy, hungry young buck. Seems like every other team has a decent number 2. veteranskinsfan
I agree with everyone else. Larry needs to go and we need to get younger at running back soon. Number 35 looks slow too. He could be fine down near the goal line. I wonder if he has the speed for screen pass plays to be successful. We should give some backup running backs a chance now when we play the Rams. TSO
We were destroying Sellers last week just the same. I loved how this coaching staff featured him as if to say "we know you can do better, now go show us because those guys are definitely not going to pay attention to you after that performance". Sellers answered. Let's see if Larry does now, that is, if he gets another chance.
Stophovr6
I am getting tired of old RB's. Young is the way to go. Do we still have Ryan Torrain? Let's see him and Keilland share a game.
Brucko
Trade for a running back! Steve Slaton comes to mind or maybe Lynch. Trade Haynesworth to the Bills.
kobra860
That play when he tried to cut to the other side of the field was completely asinine. He brings nothing good to this team.

scruffylookin
Of course Johnson is done. Some of us knew that years ago. See unlike CP, Johnson has been irrelevant for 4 seasons now. Anyone who thought that this guy was a serious challenge to CP was simply not paying attention. As for the running game as a whole, the problem is the oline (again) and it's inability to run block. I love that there are folks claiming CP is done. Apparently they don't watch the games. Where were the holes that CP missed? Sorry, I see little to no running room for CP. When he has had blocking, he absolutely has shown burst. That run around the corner in the fourth proved that. A "done" running back can't make that run. It's clear that the oline is still not in sync with the ZBS.
thehogs
I was worried in pre-season when we had Johnson and Parker being considered. Both past their best (in my opinion) and not exactly a step forward for our future run game. CP better stick a few extra pads in his kit. He's going to need them. Redskins4ever
It looks like they (Mike Shanahan & Bruce Allen) may have made a mistake in letting Ladell Betts go. I understand their logic by letting Rock Cartwright go, but they should have kept Betts. Betts would have hit the hole harder and would have gotten yards behind a very good offensive line. I truly didn't like the acquistions of neither Larry Johnson or Willie Parker. Clearly, the Redskins need a younger RB like C.J. Spiller or Adrian Peterson. While Clinton Portis scored two TDs in yesterday's game, he too is beginning to look very suspect. Portis doesn't resemble the same RB that charged through Shanahan's zone blocking scheme in Denver in 2002 & 2003.
