Conn
he's 6'5" but been slowed by injuries...... A lot of folks on here wanted him in that WR-heavy second round of '08. Turns out he's done nothing.
BuddyLeeGhostHunter
I remember a lot of folks here were big on Hardy coming out of college. Never saw the field much in Buffalo, however.

PokerPacker
Packers released Cyril Obiozor. May be worth picking up as a prospect at 3-4 OLB
darklight1216
I still cant believe Mawae is still playing at 39. There's a chance you can keep Hartwig for a couple years (he's 31), but does he want to play backup? Same for Mawae also. I dont have any knowledge of how well either of them actually did last year. Mawae wasn't half bad, but he will not be a back-up. Edit: Ravens are going with two qbs. Troy Smith was waived.
darrelgreenie
Is it thread worthy to have a Practice Squad wish list? Here's mine: Jevan Snead, Kevin O'Connel, John David Booty, Chase Coffman, Macho Harris
Conn
That's a QB heavy PS! I don't think there'd be enough passes to go around during practice!
darrelgreenie
That's a QB heavy PS! I don't think there'd be enough passes to go around during practice! Gotta have options just in case one gets picked up by another team off waivers. Now that cuts have come out i want to add: Austin, Gatewood, Henson to the list
jflow78
Packers released Cyril Obiozor. May be worth picking up as a prospect at 3-4 OLB Not a bad idea since the Packers are more stacked than anyone in the league at LB, IMO.

hfmonk
I wouldn't be surprised if John David Booty ends up on our practice squad. He comes from Kyle's Texas system. It should be a law a guy that puts his hands between a guys legs for a living is not allowed to be named Booty unless he is a porn star.

PokerPacker
Not a bad idea since the Packers are more stacked than anyone in the league at LB, IMO. Obiozor does have talent, but, as you said, the Packers are stacked there. With Matthews, Jones, Poppinga, and Chillar (can play OLB as seen in offseason, but is primarily ILB) returning, UDFA Frank Zombo making an impressive transition from DE, and the fact we're hanging onto 4 TEs and 3 FBs, we just didn't have room for him. He's certainly no starter, but he may have a future or fill in as an emergency backup.

LB Derrick Burgess S Sergio Brown LB Cory Reamer S Emanuel Cook S Quintin Demps WR Kelley Washington. S Macho Harris WR Michael Clayton Macho Harris got cut? Oldskool
Macho Harris got cut? Man we should go scoop him up like right now! I think he just got caught in a numbers game in Philly, plus he can play FS or/and CB Harris is more Nacho than Macho. Plus the Skins are deep at CB and Safety. No need to bring him in simply because "he's a local kid".
SkinsTillIDie
What about DT Jay Alford, just cut from the Giants? He seemed like he was ready to breakout as a star - getting the Superbowl winning sack of Tom Brady in his rookie year - with an even more promising 2008 season. Then he tore his ACL last preseason and he's only now regaining fitness. Plus, he knows Jerry Falwell's new playbook also, RB Andre Brown seems like he has a ton of potential and could be a better third down back than Keiland Williams. I suppose someone to monitor - maybe he could be the next Ryan Grant
