Couldn't have happened sooner IMO. Mir was extremely lucky with the knee bar in the 1st fight. He basically spent 17 months poking and taunting an angry pitbull that he was lucky enough to get away from once. This time he received his proper mauling.

Besides a lucky knee bar, what has Mir done to deserve a 3rd fight? As MMA Live recap said, they've fought a total of 3 rounds in 2 fights and Mir has won a total of 8 seconds in those 3 rounds.

Good lord, that sucks. He has a 1 year old son with her as well. RIP. Was one of my favorite boxers of all time.
