Andorra, Lichtenstein, San Marino, Monaco, Gibraltar, Faroe Islands would be fair based on population.

I'm guessing the Vatican City doesn't have a team :-)

Whilst everyone in twitter la-la land is hilariously losing their **** over no signings (On June 16. Over two full weeks before the window even officially opens!), this just made me smile on the biggest signing of all.

Happy 50th to the fan in the manager's chair. Here's to the next 4 years at least being as enjoyably fun-filled as the first 20 months.

Operation Puerto blood bags must be released to authorities, judge orders

"One witness at his trial in Madrid, the former cyclist Jesus Manzano, said he had seen Spanish and Brazilian footballers at Fuentes’s clinic."

Update: The court in Madrid decided Friday to block the identification of Dr. Fuentes' clients: the 211 blood pockets seized in 2006 can not be used to launch legal proceedings.

Typical spanish PED cover-up. :stop:

Klopp's first signing, Marko Grujić starts for Serbia against Portugal on the hour the U-21 Euro's in a game filled with talent. (But no Renato Sanches starting surprisingly for Portugal.).

Quality talent that lad that everyone seems to have forgotten about. Like a new signing by given his injury-decimated first season at the club.

Serbia didn't deserve to lose 2-0. But that's football. You don't always get what you deserve.

Mixed 67 minutes for Grujić. Silly early yellow card and a shockingly bad miss 5 yards out with a free header that should have made it 1-1 after he'd started the move with some good, driving attacking play from midfield. But overall he looked very tidy and was very unlucky not to equalise,  arriving late in the box which he has a real knack for, but a superb Portuguese tattle denied him.

Onto Macedonia Tuesday teatime.

Liverpool sobe parada e avança com €50 milhões por Gelson

"Liverpool did not give up on Gelson Martins and after letting the Lion officials know he was willing to pay between 40 and 45 million to hire the leonine winger, in a first unsuccessful negotiating approach, he is preparing to raise the price to 50 millions of euros.
With this proposal, the leaders of Liverpool hope to convince definitively Bruno de Carvalho to sit at the negotiating table in an attempt to reach an agreement that allows the player to leave the Premier League. "

If there's one sure thing I've learned in the mad crazy rumour season.

Believe NOTHING out of Portugal.

Can't wait until they get to Zizou.

Zizou's former impresario Alain Migliaccio was sentenced in 2012 by the Spanish court to five years in prison and fined €9.2 million in tax evasion.

I believe Zizou and CR7 don't care, Perez is going to pay the fines of his darlings :silly:

Not sure about this dude though : Ronaldo not alone: Mourinho accused of tax fraud :ols:

I don't think Alves can survive the Premier League at his age.

Chelsea was linked to alves and i was praying it was untrue.  If you ask Juve supporters he was absolute dross during the domestic campaign...but did show out during the CL.  The italian league I reckon is the closest thing to the PL in physical play style and if he couldn't handle that, he will surely crack in the PL.

Did the same idiots who gave Juve a 'super duper new' badge take Bayern for a massive ride too?

Bayern unveiling a new logo with some massive changes. On a side note if any football club wants to pay me to spend 5 minutes editing their existing logos my rates start at 100k.

Edit: These are the changes the wild men made. 1. New and darker blue; new and warmer red

2. Vertex on ‘M’ is shorter and converges to a point

3. Angle on Bavarian lozenges changes from -30 degrees to -35 degrees in rotation.

4. Lozenges (or rhombuses, as we all know them) were scaled up to fix uneven crop. Seven blue instead of eight blue lozenges across.

5. The terminals of the ‘C’ were lengthened.

Seriously, words fail you on the stupid money wasted there for minimal change. Football clubs. SMH.

Talking of words failing you .....

How do UEFA reason it's 'not aginst the integrity of the competition' to allow both Red Bull clubs into the CL this year?

How are two clubs with the same owners not open to a whole host of controversy? The rules are so clear on this and yet they choose not to apply them. Rules are there for a reason and you can't just go around cherry picking what is applicable. If the rule isn't right anymore then you remove or amend it.

Really stupid as it opens the door on some other UEFA rules not popular like the ban on third party ownership to be questioned more. (Which is also contested in European courts at this moment by Portuguese and Spanish Football Federations.). Why should clubs adhere to rules when UEFA won't themselves enforce all of them? It's either Leipzig or Salzburg. Not both for Pete's sake!

Mad, and utterly wrong decision. Or not being it's UEFA.

Sure hope Northcroft's as thoroughly researched as he normally is before he puts his name to something there. Oxlade-Chamberlian would be a great double up with Salah to start off the summer.

Although if we did swipe him from Arsenal, we need to sort out what we're gonna' call him. The 'Ox' thing is about as wool as you can get!
