Wrong and inappropriate thread for politics etc, however for what it's worth, On Friday the Saudi Arabian football federation made an “unreserved” apology.... “The players did not intend any disrespect to the memories of the victims or to cause upset to their families, friends or any individual affected by the atrocity,” it said in a statement. “The Saudi Arabian Football Federation condemns all acts of terrorism and extremism and extends its sincerest condolences to the families of all the victims and to the government and people of the United Kingdom.”
Gibbs Hog Heaven
After falling asleep watching the hapless English, I've now got the Germany- San Marino game on and it's 4 already within 40 minutes. And they've just hit the post. Something needs SERIOUSLY sorting out here. Put them in their own qualifying group to give them a sporting chance. How are these minnows ever gonna' improve when they get annihilated every game?Complete joke. Hail.

Andorra, Lichtenstein, San Marino, Monaco, Gibraltar, Faroe Islands would be fair based on population. I'm guessing the Vatican City doesn't have a team :-)

You should acknowledge how arrogant most of our players are and what a douche Deschamps is. This guy went to Sweden seeking nothing but a draw, that was his ambition. He kept Kante, Mbappé and Dembélé on the friggin bench . His first substitution came at the 75th minute, and later on Lloris screw us up. Matuidi and Payet were no-shows, he played Sissoko the ghost instead of Kanté, and Griezmann was obviously fried. Last but not least he didn't care to make any adjustments at half time. We're lucky we're on a very weak group due to the Netherlands national team collapse. Funny thing both Swedish scorers are playing for Toulouse football club Edited June 10, 2017 by FrFan

FrFan
LOL, typical ManU hyperventilation. Mendy is the guy I'm following, if he's not plagued by inconsistency and injuries he can become a DB ala Thuram. FrFan
Uefa floats limiting squad sizes and imposing luxury taxes on richest clubs to level the playing field “We do have to examine new mechanisms like luxury taxes and, in particular, sporting criteria like squad limitations and fair transfer rules, to avoid player hoarding and excessive concentration of talent within a few teams,” Ceferin said at a conference in Lisbon. Latst rumors from the evil empire: Verratti wants out, James getting closer, their new GM Henrique isn't interested in Aubameyang instead he made an offer for Mbappé.
