My nephew would threaten to leave home when he was five. His mother would help him pack. But he wasn't allowed to cross the street so he would just sit at the end of the driveway before returning and giving them another chance.

Sounds about right. My other favorite thing to do was run away as well. I never understood why she wouldn't stop me and plead for me to give her a second chance. So off I went with my fruit roll-ups and Barbie dolls...to the barn. I think my mom even has a picture of me in the barn's hayloft with my pink carpetbagger backpack.

Actually, those kids are all becoming grown-ups and live in various parts of the UK (they were raised in N. Ireland).

They're all doing quite well for themselves surprisingly. Given the bizarre situation it is really pretty impressive.

you can be skepical, but the truth is I'm ****ed. I've had lawyers tell me I'm gonna win at different things and then in the end I get smoked. I tried to put up a good fight. I lost. There's nothing left to fight for. I am beat down & quite. It Is what it is. I can't come up with the kind of money they want and have even a place to live myself. So......
